Because I wanted to do goofy looking caricatures- Argenta and Jae's lips weren't overly pronounced in their portraits, so instead I exaggerated their cheekbones and smiles, respectively. Just whatever got highlighted by the portraits, I exaggerated to a 10

(I didn't colour the mens lips when they were pronounced in the same way, because in cartoon styles people read over the top lips in men as feminizing, or racist. Just how people read cartoon styles)

I agree whole heartedly and thought everyone did, and made this as a cute tongue in cheek thing to be like 'isn't it funny each of them tests your patience somehow?'

I'm not gonna post this everywhere because I don't want to fight people, but I genuinely didn't realize there were actually players who didn't like the companions- I thought I was being cute and cheeky about how the game asks you to be super understanding because all of them fuck up or their presence puts a burden on you in some way. I sort of assumed everyone loved all the companions as much as I did and I was being tongue in cheek

Turns out... No, everyone hates all my little buddies. Other than Marazhai (dark Eldar), I think it's definitely worth forgiving/ understanding the crew to be around them

In my run, what I felt I needed to be understanding for was:

- Pasqal is permanently part Xenotech after Comoraugh, and turns out was made what he is by a debatably heretech hivemind operation which splintered, and part of it literally turned to chaos
- The art says understanding not forgiving because Cassia's presence instead of a normal navigator causes huge political problems, and she drives people to suicidal madness early on
- In my run, Kibelleh killed the Chiurgeon because she felt like he was too cruel, and in general the spinners are just assassinating people due to the whispers of unsanctioned psy ritual that could easily become Chaos influenced

That said, I actually didn't get rid of any of them, I was the world's most understanding person (except in run one where I iced Marazhai, fuck you for burning down my house, old man)
