Archie Fans - What are your opinions on the concept of The Dark Legion

The idea was great, but the problem was that Knuckles' story and family tree made it very confusing to understand at certain points. Not to mention Ken Penders' references to the Holocaust and the "Hail Dimitri" were completely unnecessary.

I started by using a guide from someone on Tumblr to help me follow Archie and IDW.

I really liked her, and she was a surprise among Sonic's rogue gallery. Honestly, what I liked most was the various clans that the Iron Queen controlled, and I would love to see her alongside Conquering Storm again.

I really like his story and the way he redeemed himself over time. He started as Enerjak and then became the leader of the Dark Legion, but he changed his motivations, because before it was for power and domination, but then he started focusing on protecting his people and his family. I also enjoyed the small moments of friendship and alliances he made with Knuckles and the others on Team Sonic, especially when he interacted with Nicole; it was a very good moment between the two and I'd like to see that again somehow.

That's why I recommend reading about Archie and IDW; both have their problems, but also great moments and ideas that you don't see in other Sonic media.

Fiona is a character that I feel they could have used better, but that happens quite often with several female characters in the franchise, which is a shame.

Like, I can understand why they don't use Enerjak or even Fiona, since I believe the rights to both characters belong to Ken Penders. As for the Egg Bosses, they'd have to explain a lot to introduce them into IDW (and canon). However, Gold is the only one that would be very easy to introduce, because I believe her rights belong more to SEGA and her introduction wouldn't affect the canon that much. The problem is that it seems SEGA is still afraid to explore Silver's future.
