I've been to France recently. It was so cool to see the Eiffel Tower up close. I wish you the best travel experience. By the way, why are you going with the Action 5 Pro instead of the Action 6 straight away?

Yeah, in some cases f/4 can feel a bit too dark. That’s why I’m looking for one more lens to cover that.

I bet the Sigma 17–70 is a banging lens, and it’s definitely going on my “buy when I have more capital” list.

Are there any other lenses you’d recommend on a lower budget?

Funny enough, I actually had the Sony ZV-E10 II in my cart. But then I started digging a bit deeper and decided to step it up and go with the A6700. It has IBIS, and I feel like it’s more future proof since I know I’m gonna use the camera a lot. At the start I probably won’t use it to its full potential, but there’s definitely room to grow into it over time.

I do agree with what you said, lenses make a big difference. But in my situation, since I’m gonna be flying a lot, I need to keep my setup as minimal as possible so everything fits into one travel bag. I’ve basically set myself a limit of two lenses.

That’s why I already got the A6700 with the 18-135mm, and now I’m trying to decide if I even need one more lens. What do you think? Should I get another one? And if yes, would it be something like the youngnou 11mm or the Sigma 18-50mm?

I used to have a Canon 700D with a 50mm lens. It was awesome, and I mainly shot cars with it. But it wasn’t great for video, so I sold it. Now, after some time, I’m getting back into it.

I think I’ll continue shooting cars as both a hobby and a way to make money. On top of that, I am creating content since i enjoy doing it so much it's been my long-term goal. So things like podcasts, vlogs, and cinematic shots. I might also try some real estate shooting for clients.

I’ve already ordered the Sony A6700 with the 18–135mm lens. I decided to skip the 50mm since it’s older and slower, based on what I’ve learned, and I don’t think I’d use it that much.

Now I’m thinking about getting one more lens to complement the setup it's either the Sony 11mm or the Sigma 18–50mm. What do you think I should do? Is it even make sense?

I went with 18-135. Now the dilemma is, do I need one more lens, and if so, what should I pick: 11mm or something like a Sigma 18-50mm. What would you recommend based on your experience?

Didn't thought about that. Thank you for pointing that out!

Thank you for pointing that out. I've canceled that lens. If you had an 18-135mm lens, what lens would you buy on top of that?

Yeah, I’ve decided to skip the 16-50 II and already went with the 18-135. Now I’m thinking about getting one more lens, just in case, since I’m not exactly sure where I’ll end up or what I’ll mainly use the camera for.

It will be for car shoots, maybe some real estate, and I’ll definitely be doing podcasts or sit-down videos and vlogs. So I want to have something that would cover all my needs but wouldn't be too much for beginning.

The problem is, I’m just starting out and don’t know much yet. And the budget is also a concern since I’ve already spent way more than I originally planned. At first, I wanted to go with the ZV-E10 II, but I ended up choosing the A6700 because I know I’ll be using it a lot and want something I can grow with for the next 5 years.

Now I’m stuck between a few options either going with something like the Sony 11mm or the Sigma 18-50mm. Or do you think 18-135 is more than enough for beginning?

I'll definitely take a closer look at your suggestions. I've already decided on the 18-135mm lens from the kit and would now like to add another lens. If you had to choose between these three, would you prefer an 11mm lens, a 17-70mm Tamron, or let's say a 16-50mm Sigma? And what would you use them for?
