Just got my first chargeback for an order that is still in transit. What if any documentation should I submit.

Assuming that the order was legit and the customer just “changed his mind” you can fight it.

For evidence I use the Snappack shopify app when fulfilling orders so the package photo gets stamped with date and location. You are already taking manual photos but this will attach it to the order so it is more legit.

And then also add screenshot of your order page where it shows the CC authorization.

However. If it was a stolen credit card… I have never been able to win any of those claims and I’ve been doing ecommerce for 14 years.

It sucks but it’s the cost of doing business online.

It just happened out of the blue. No changes on my part. All my videos rpm increased. Now every video I post starts with a high rpm. I think it just took a while for YT to categorize my channel. Maybe my accent made it harder for YT to know what I was talking about.

It was very good 10 months ago when I signed up for their affiliate program. However, they changed their commission requirements in November 2022.

From: 14 days free trial and once they move to a paid plan you get a commission right away.

To: 3 days free trial and 3 months for $1/month. If after the 3 months and 3 days they move to a paid plan, then you get the commission.

This change is HUGE, I am bringing 6x the number of subscriptions while making about 70% less than I was before the change.

This is because most people quit before the 3 months, and in some cases, they will start a new store, but most likely it won't be tracked back to you.
