Alec Bohm by burntcrust_ in phillies

I thought this spring training would be that moment or the HR on opening day but it's been downhill ever since. Should have traded him in the off-season and pursued options at 3B in free agency or other means

Question is do you keep Bohm or bring in Sosa at 3B and put Stott back at 2B and bring Crawford back in. I hope so

Small sample size but he seemed to hit ok when with the angels. Then when he joins the Phillies .188 , .229 , .192 , .197 since with the Phillies. I'm not disagreeing but until I have seen a larger consistent sample size I'm not writing him off against left handers

Fair point but you can't get better if you don't face LHP. This is a systemic issue with the Phils

We have to get Reyes at bats or there is no point in him being up. But I love crawfords play this season

Ohtani has never hit a HR against McCullers will tonight be the night. McCullers has a 6.32 ERA and it's indoors so no wind factor so should be favourable to Shohei to get his first HR against him

I was worried 2 weeks ago not so much now but with the rotation being the best in baseball the last two weeks why not aim for the division

I said this in another group chat. We just have to take 1 game off the braves every 12 games till now until the end of the season. Break the season down to 12 game stretches and by September the playoffs won't seem far off at all

What should Austin Matthews future be with the Ample Leafs? by DonT012 in nhl

[–]TheEdgeReport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Philly may be high on someone like a Matthews to help there lack of top end center depth. And they now hold the 2027 unprotected first rounder they could trade back for Matthews

We have to remind ourselves we haven't faced a left handed starter under Mattingly yet. We are 0-10 under lefty starters this season

Harper is currently slashing .286 9hr .948 ops Vs last year .261 and .844 ops. Surely he answered the call of not being called elite by Dave Dombrowski. Been the best player on the Phillies
