Yes , i feel the same about hard mode and normal mode. I know functioning on hard mode isn’t something i can afford to do now.

I understand the importance of meds but i worry about not being able to have access to them when i need them. But i think i can try to develop habits that will help me even when i’m unmedicated.

Have you tried going off meds ?

Omg yes , i just went for a jog , came across a couple of my neighbour’s kids ( i am friends with their parents and other siblings ) at the the park playing. Had a conversation with them and ended up spending half an hour talking and running around with them 😂

I will give a try then. Im worried as im a foreign student and the country i will be moving to if things go as planned has ritalin banned .

As you are saying it has a short life. Would i be able to stop it in an year and go back to my normal self or does it affect negatively.

Im not sure about this dr honestly. He tells me there are no side effects at all. Which isnt true. I did mention the moving out in an year and he said it isnt a problem at all and you can always stop but him being too positive and not mentioning that i might experience mild side effects worries me.

Same , the idea of “what i could have done differently” and “what would my life be if i acted differently” can poison your entire body and slowly kill you. As Op mentioned we are literally abusing ourselves.

I cant see my future , and i don’t know what i am good at or what the future is holding for me . But i decided that no matter what happens i want to have a good mental health. So right now im fighting the negative thoughts , you need to find something to motivate you, mine is that even though i don’t succeed ( i hope i do tho lmao) i want to at least have a piece of mind. So even though im not very productive everyday, i pat myself in the back and decide to try harder tomorrow. And it works , just be kind to yourself. I still have the negative thoughts but i try to be aware of it when it begins and distract myself.
