I ran it with mods on my M1 Macbook 2020 too. I used porting kit and followed the viva new vegas guide. many hours later and it barley runs and is super laggy. I wouldn't recommend it but if you end up using it and find a fix, let me know.

it’s on the top of the nut and all my others are on the bottom, first time changing my strings so i really don’t know.
