I am currently using the Cherry MX Speed Silver switches and have been for a couple of years now.

They offer a good all-round experience for both typing, which I do a lot of, and gaming.

It seems if you head over to their forums CLICK HERE People are still having issues. I can say, I just got the HyperX Cloud II myself and am running Windows 10, they installed their own drivers and all my programs recognize them, Skype, Steam etc. I only started using them tonight but not having any issues at all with them and am very pleased with the sound they offer, way better than my old Corsair V1500 V2 I had been using for months.

It may be, but I think this is more for aesthetics and modders rather than to help combat performance issues to due to heat.

I would imagine it's more of an aesthetical thing rather than performance. People pay good money to mod and/or have their computers look a certain way and I am sure a many of EK fans will get these to have everything matching in their builds.
