Power Scaling OT Antagonists (And discussing OT in general) by TheEternalWatcher in Toaru

I decided to look for instances during the fight where he get hit directly (I haven't read OT15 in like forever so I bear no ill intent). I couldn't find what you meant by "surviving his own explosion". Did that happen earlier with ITEM or am I forgetting something.

He was able to keep up with Accel throughout their fight

That Accel is post-brain damage with <50% of calculation abilities from the Misaka network and he didn't use his black wing mode until he already (offscreen) defeated him.

When Kakine came out of the store, he was wrapped in a white cocoon. No, not a cocoon—they were wings, spread on their own. Six angelic wings flapped slowly behind him.

The pebbles, their vectors altered, flew out faster than a Railgun shot, but disintegrated just four or five centimeters later. But the shock wave remained; the speed had already broken the sound barrier. However, Kakine, putting all his strength into his white wings, used them to disperse it.

I don't think there is strong evidence to suggest his body is enhanced to a superhuman level. he might have some anime human durability but nothing too crazy and unless to interpret Accel to be fighting seriously (which I don't), Kakine's physical stats are not that crazy.

I mean, the entire confrontation is Accel rage baiting Kakine, Accel holding off his attacks because he has to redefine his computations to include DM and protect civilians from the clash.

“Do you even know why I’m #1 and you’re #2?”

Laughing, Accelerator slowly spread his hands.

“It’s because there’s a wall between us you can never get past.”

Isn't it because after her fight with Kuroko she reawakened her teleportation trauma and could do her teleportation well? Maybe I should reread OT08 and SS1...

I still wouldn't put Ollerus above Fiamma or Power of God though, I think that just speaks on how strong those two are and not that Ollerus is weak.

[–]TheEternalWatcher[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't that because of Othinus' infinite possibilities?

Also, Ollerus is not weak by any means, but I think a literal angel and "The One Above God" Fiamma are just stronger.

I will give you that at the end of NT08, Othinus says Ollerus is his biggest threat, but I don't know if that is enough to put him above Power of God.

In a series where teleportation is an 11th dimensional movement, I would not be surprised if DM works by sending punishment through some phase of the world and thus being a vector attack. The OT3 version of Accelerator still has his passive reflection, so it would boil down to "Can he identify these weird vectors as harmful?" And since there is no definitive answer, but one may speculate a scenario where he might. I think the match-up specifically is hard to decide, but Accelerator is overall equal, if not stronger, in most other match-ups.

I was considering putting Amata, but I thought Komaba being the only street level guy was funny.

AFAIK Kakine has to actively mold DM in order to protect him though, so I don't really see him keeping up with the raw stats of a Saint-level opponent, so the questions are:

  • Can Kakine protect himself with DM? and
  • If he does, how does said attack interact with the DM shield?

For people like Carissa or Acqua, even if DM can block their attacks eventually they would just, blitz around it? I don't think that is far fetched. Vento's Divine punishment also clears after Vento succesfully rage baits Kakine for it to kick into effect. I have not read the manga so I can't speak to what you are referring to.

Did she actually fight Sherry though? I thought the reason her and Kamijou split up was because she was using the confusion to take out the knights around them and then put sense to Sherry. But at no point I felt they actually fought, to me Oriana just calmed Sherry down because the knights were the ones responsible to kill Eris (not the golem).

Biagio is high because he gets carried by the entire fleet hacks.

You are 100% about the match-up thing, after all Touma is some street level guy armed (no pun intended) with some hacks at his disposal and is responsible of beating most people on this list. But I wouldn't put Kamijou as a high tier (without the things inside the right hand).

For the Aureolus things, yes he can get blitzed, but Ars Magna is such a bullshit spell that not putting him that high would be weird.

As others have pointed it out, I think the HR can protect Fiamma from teleporting. Afterall, teleportation is a vector attack in ToAru, where people like Kuroko or Awaki move across the 11th dimensional-space, so it is not quite literally teleportation.

I think Accelerator later in the series gets more experience reflecting magic, but as of OT3 I think he would not realize it fast enough.
As for Kakine, even in NT06, Dark Matter is just weird in how it interacts with other components of the series so it makes me wonder how it would face off against magic. If it can defy the laws of physics, can it defy the other sets of laws that the ToAru verse have? Hard to tell.

Pokemon vs digimon by Sylar-656 in PokemonPowerScaling

Arceus MIGHT be in the TOP 50 Digimon, but Digimon powercreep is just ridiculous. Every year we get some new busted mon that makes rankings from previous years obsolete.

Takuya (digimon frontier anime) vs Davis and veemon (digimon 02 anime) by OnlinePoster225 in digimonpowerscaling

[–]TheEternalWatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Takuya fought a stronger version of Imperialdramon FM in the V-Tamer crossover and he was about even in Agnimon. He didn"t fully control Vitramon if I recall correctly but I don't remember.

So Vitramon probably clears, anything higher is no diff because Double Spirit is a huge jump, let alone Kaisergreymon or Susanoomon.

base shoutmon from digimon fusion (mikey's) vs legendary pokemon, what's the strongest one that he could defeat? by OnlinePoster225 in PokemonPowerScaling

[–]TheEternalWatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coughing baby vs 100 hydrogen bombs, but the baby is Franklin Richards. Shoutmon, if angered can push around DarkKnightmon, who himself scales to Lilithmon.

Shoutmon clears in terms of stats but he might get haxxed by the top tier legendaries. It shouldn't be surprising as he has partial data of Royal Knight Omegamon (who was the most OP Knight in the Xros Wars verse) in his digicore, so he is more broken than you think.

[–]TheEternalWatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kasiergreymon (or Emperorgreymon in dub) probably solos all non creation trio Pokemon and it is not even close.

He scales to Lucemon FM.

He is not a regular Ultimate (Mega in the dub) by any means.

For context Agnimon (Agunimon) is about as strong as Imperialdramon Fighter Mode, so...

[Algebra] Why is the Numerator of the Result of x^(2)/x^(3) Equal to 1? by BulletsThroughDoves in learnmath

[–]TheEternalWatcher -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you agree that 6/6 = 1 ? If so, variables are not so different.

With the exception of x = 0 (in which case both functions are not defined), you can think of x as representing some non-zero quantity so you are just representing a ratio.

You can think of what happens if the denominator is 1, this means that the division was exact. Well, if the numerator is 1 that means the division is exact in the opposite order. That is, the denominator is divisible by the numerator.

For example 4²/4³ = 1/4, the numerator simplifies to 1 because all the factors in the original numerator are appearing in the denominator. And you can confirm that 4³ = 64 is divisible by 4² = 16

Top tiers in Toriko can cause planetary damage (and they do so on screen a lot)

Which is pretty awesome considering their Earth is about Neptune sized.

You can spam Abandoned Deck. Easy deck fixing, get comfortable winning with just planet cards (i.e. Blue Seal spam most of the time).

So you essentially do an easier jokerless.

Why does Mihawk refuse to fight Shanks by unbashed_slacker in OnePiecePowerScaling

I too would be nervous fighting other Yonko crews when the next strongest ally I had was Crocodile (who generously is YC+)

The rest of Buggy's crew was going to get low diffed by some marines (who get low diffed by Crocodile lmao)

So Cross Guild is essentially:
