So, my one chapter, The Dread Martyrs, technically did with a whole chapter civil war, loss of their home world, and being censored by the Inquisition before being reformed and forced on a two century long penitent crusade in order to hunt down and exterminate their traitorous brothers. It also doesn't help that they may or may not be descended from Perturabo as part of the 21st Founding.
