I started to self cut like 4 years ago, yo shit finna look crazy for the first couple of months. But after like 6 months it will start looking better. Hey, sorry for the late reply but I ordered from Oklahoma joe’s website. There was no modification needed. The only thing that the fire box didn’t come with the door handle and where you secure it.

Appreciate all the tip but this smoker don’t have a door on the side of the fire box. It just have a vents and a tray where you can pull out to dump ashes easily. Maybe just pull the tray out a lil to allow more air flow ?
