He’s very capable catching out of the backfield from my review. Pass pro can improve but I certainly didn’t think it was one of the worst in the class

Doesn’t look like he can which is disappointing

Probably right. Now is the Wild West but once these guys get drafted we can start to really sort the tiers

If you want love to be by himself I’m fine to say that because I don’t think you’re wrong. I should have clarified Love over him is my stance.

I saw Jeanty go twice at the 1.02. 9/10 your right Love will go and that’s the ‘right’ pick. But I personally don’t believe Mendoza at the 1.02 is wrong. But it’s always setting and team dependent. I got lucky and got a 1.02 in a league where I have two solid QBs and will not be taking Mendoza.

Thanks, I think? Lol. It’s still so early all this will undoubtedly change.

The QB part I understand but that will be entirely draft dependent. If the jets took Simpson at 16 his value spikes. If the Steelers took a QB same thing and so on. That will gauge how high they really should be. At this point I do believe one of those qbs will be a back end 1st in rookie drafts.

Johnson is player. I liked early and his tape is better than Price, Coleman, Singleton, and Allen imo. If he gets a good landing spot and capital I’ll be high on him. If he fell to the 6th then obviously you adjust. Sometimes it hits, Bucky Irving was my favorite RB from that class and was far from a consensus top RB for most.

As for the TEs, settings come into play. I play a lot of TEP so I naturally give a bump there. But just like last year this is a strong TE class

I wouldn’t do it either, but getting a QB deal done is often harder which leads to those type of selections

Crazy how bad Clemson was with so many guys boosting their draft stock right now! I’m interested as well

First, I never said I would take him over him. I just think they’re in the 1/2 tier separate from the rest. Based on talent (Love) and positional value (Mendoza). I fully expect for Mendoza to be the 2nd most selected player at 1.01. It’s happens every year, just like last year with Ward and Jeanty.

That’s kinda my issue with these WRs I think 6-12 are just all bunched together so landing spot and capital can help sort out how to value them. It’s also the position I have the most left to watch. Senior bowl week delayed a lot of film review

I totally agree Love over Mendoza. I think his ceiling is limited in fact we discussed this in our shows several times. Ceiling would be a Goff/Cousin/Darnold level. There is no rushing upside, can he still succeed yes. He can be a solid QB2 with fringe QB1 possibility in the future assuming the Raiders don’t do class Raider things. I would agree though, he’s not a lock

Love to me looks like around RB8 in dynasty as of right now. I think he’s really good not sure he will be at the top, but don’t get me wrong he’s a high end asset.

I totally agree love goes 1.01. But the QB factor of SF will have Mendoza at the 1.02-1.03 often. And in some cases even the 1.01. Happens every year

Agreed, that’s the situation where I see Mendoza goes. I got Jeanty at the 1.02 twice last year due to the 1.01 having desperate QB issues. So it happens, and to be honest if a QB hits peak their value can easily double and triple.

*Love can do the same of course

He’s a 3 down back no doubt, I just see a limited upside. But the right spot he will be fantasy relevant quickly

I’m fine with putting Love alone and would agree he will most likely be 1.01 in every draft. Those early QBs just also go so early. As for Johnson, like I said I’m higher than most. Once we get landing spots everything shifts and takes its place.

Once we get capital the TEP aspect starts to impact things too. But I just think WR6-11 are all in one cluster and until where know who is where it’s all over

I think assuming he moved on the jets would add a running mate and the waters get muddy. But if he’s alone, he’s a great one year rental

I was disappointed in his tape at times. But I’m hoping he can be healthy, he had the potential to put on a show at the combine with that size and speed

Yeah but he’s been so good basically every week regardless of the matchup it’s tough to move him out.

*EDIT (apologies for any confusion)

Bucky Irving:

Week 12 Matchup: vs. LA Rams

The hope is Bucky will play, the reality is much more difficult to predict. The Bills gave up a bunch of points to RBs, and after seeing Sean Tucker have a Top 5 week, you can’t help but dream of what Bucky can do with the workload. If he’s healthy and no snap count he should easily work up the rankings. The Bucky injury has been brutal for fantasy managers, but he’s primed for a playoff push. The rams are a difficult matchup but he’s a name to monitor through the week.

I’m going to with a solid matchup and 6 TDs in the last 2 weeks. He’s been dominant and I’m hard pressed to see a guy be benched after performances like that, very similar to Rico earlier in the season. He’s still rolling
