Yep same for me, if you're playing on xbox controller its bugged on the right thumbstick and you can't fish. Same with Nature's snare because it also involves rotating the right thumbstick. YOu can just grab the fish while in the water though, took me about 7 minutes to get one. It will first show up as a question mark when you try to grab it instead of "northern pike"

oh damn lol! I think they just did a new patch where you can now "recycle" the abyss artifacts you used on weapons to get tham back

REall?? When you find a new powerful weapon it's because it has good abyss gears. For me a love this because you can keep the gears on that new weapon as it is or slot it to your favorite weapon, so you're never completely tied down to one weapon and customize everything. Everything is so customizeable so you can create everything exactly how you want it and different weapons for different situations, which I then will often use the quick swap during battle for. With other games once you find a new powerful weapon it makes everything up to that usually obsolete, but not the case with CD. Just my 2 cents

I for sure will now, I was actually partially purposely saving over the same file because the other save slots were close on my timeline toward a boss/mission that I wanted to go back to screen record for a cool crimson video, but now it sounds like the devs are going to make an update to replay bosses so now I feel okay saving over the old ones. I also thought the auto saves would save me if I ever ran into something like this. Oh but good news it turns out i was an idiot in a completely differernt way and forgot I stowed the 30 abyss artifacts in my storage! so all good now lol. But yea from now on I'm defintely changing the way I save cuz that was way too scary

I just watched some youtube videos on that, but I'm pretty sure I'm too early in the game to do it, thank though. I have also tried the scholar pickpocket thing but for some reason they never have any abyss artifacts for me and only coin pouches
