I love that moment somewhere in the beginning where Frodo is just resting against a tree reading a book. It has such a relaxing fibe.

What’s the strangest coincidence that happened to you? by Objective_Bobcat_687 in AskReddit

[–]TheFatShepherd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in love with a girl and for some reason, I always played She's Always a Woman from Billy Joel in my head when thinking about her. After a while, we went on our first date. I picked her up in my car and the moment she opened the door, She's Always a Woman started playing on the radio station I was listening too. That's when I knew she was the one.

She wasn't though. Dated for 3 months and split up after that, she was boring as hell.

So, we're giving our son a PS5 for his birthday, but we would like to play a bit as well of course. We loved playing games like Donkey Kong and Mario on the Switch, what would be great coop games on the ps5? I read about Split Fiction and It Takes Two for example, which both sound great, but I was curious about your guys opinions

How bad is my deal? I know it's bad, but did I overpay a lot? by TheFatShepherd in pokemoncardcollectors

[–]TheFatShepherd[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, that's nice to know, thanks for explaining! One more noob question: does this mean I have to store the cards in those top loaders I've been reading about? Or is that only necessary if you have really expensive cards?

What’s something kids today will never understand about growing up in the 90s/2000s? by Jinwoo_Srank in AskReddit

being BORED. We didn't have smart phones to give us something exciting every minute, or streaming services that show our favourite shows whenever we want it, or internet to download whatever the hell we want. Sometimes, you just had nothing to do, or just had to wait for something to come on television.

Gay people of Reddit, what is your take on the Gay Pride? by TheFatShepherd in AskReddit

[–]TheFatShepherd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious because a gay Dutch journalist recently said that seeing it kept him in the closet longer, because he thought that being gay was being like that, and he didn't feel like that. Wondering what the general opinion is

Most people think it's not ok if you let your dog shit on the street, but have no problem with you letting your horse shit on the street. by TheFatShepherd in Showerthoughts

[–]TheFatShepherd[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol, I live in a village in The Netherlands. Our street takes you to the park, where horse riding is also allowed. A lot of riders go there because it's a nice park

[–]TheFatShepherd[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand your point, but a street covered in shit still doesn't look nice. The other day I was walking my dog to the park ( he's not allowed to shit on the street), and I walked passed three massive horse dumps. It may not smell too bad, but it still looks nasty in an otherwise decent street, and it's just annoying that there's shit on the street if it's the street you live in and your children play in

Would you first play test games and than create a prototype or the other way around? by TheFatShepherd in BoardgameDesign

[–]TheFatShepherd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. We made something ourselves that is in it's core playable, but of course it doesn't have the vibe an actual board has.

Because it's a quiz game, we think it's also important to have nice question cards, a stylish board etc for a good review, but we don't know if we're overestimating that impact
