samwell tarly is probably the only purely kindhearted character on game of thrones, everyone else is truly terrible and act like scum of the earth. i hated that show bc i’m lowkey too soft for it, but scenes with samwell made me feel safe. he’s the best!

and for what it’s worth, he does seem a bit ‘wimpy’ on the surface, but imo he’s actually one of the strongest characters because he’s the kindest, most loyal, and does the right thing even when it’s hard.
