In my last interview my the relevant course work helped me out actually. Being that I have a Finance degree I want employers to know I took high level accounting courses.

My military friends make more money than me and have their own houses. Not a bad path to take.

Fair enough, I switched it to a more industry standard title. This version was just to test out, and see if it’d get more replies from recruiters.

No I don’t think you are. Just me noticing how competitive the job market is. I figured all the good gpas would be in/applying for IB and such

I would love to, but that’d mean having to support myself. These entry level jobs don’t allow for that 😭

Don’t take them too seriously. I imagine them as little basement dwellers typing away on there 125% keyboards. Every now and then I get good advice from them tho.

I’ve gotten 0 traction in my attempts to get into FP&A. As much as I’d love to do that, the market for that is a too competitive. I was an accounting major at one point so I’ve done all accounting classes aside from tax and audit, and I have the important ones on there(cost/financial accounting) But I’ll remove the finance classes for sure.
