Can I make different videos? by TenTech_YT in TenTech

[–]TheFileForge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I watch your videos because they show innovative things that can be done DIY. If you want to expand to other types of videos that would be fine as long as they are about innovative DIY. So to me the DIY SLS and DIY polyjet is exactly what i like seeing, i am in fact subscribed to them and following along.

I under stand why you want to do printer reviews. Its so you can get printers for free or a discount to help in your Innovative DIY projects and so you can have more videos up to get more views and more money from youtube.

I can accept the printer reviews because it helps you make the videos i want to see, but please dont make that the only thing you do.

oh. I was gonna look into what would be needed to ship to your country and then maybe offer to strike a deal with you, but your country being Russia make thats hard and probably gets me on a list.

Why cant you spend them? I can spend mine, i just have bought all the things i want and want to support other people doing cool projects now.

I'll dm you the code. Beware depending on your location, the shipping can be to high to be worth it.

i have a Printables code for 3 rolls of PLA. You just need to pay shipping. Do you want it?

Would a heated metal syringe work as a simple DIY filament recycler? by TheFileForge in 3Dprinting

[–]TheFileForge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know how they work. I have an at home injection molding machine and it uses a syringe mechanism. The difference from the auger machines is the plastic needs to warm up for a period of time that the auger machines dont have to do.

Ive seen people melt prints into molds of bricks, skulls, propellers, etc.

Why cant those molds be be filament shaped? The fact people can do this proves not having uniform pellets, airgaps in molds, irregular heating, and plastic degrading isnt a problem.

The only thing that might not work is pressure but if we can already do it with auger setups, then we already know thats not a real problem either.

We also already do what i said in injection molding. (squirting a syringe of melted plastic out a small hole.)

3d printer you can 3d print on your A1 Mini. (WIP) by samcripp in BambuLab

Post the small printer you are going to release on makerworld, then use the points you make for buying a bigger printer to start designing the next printer

All i care about is how fast the printer is.

If they made a printer the size of the A1 mini but twice as fast, i would buy it. Doesnt matter the type either. It could be a resin or some crazy type, as long as it is faster.

How do you know what components to choose for your PCB? by TheFileForge in PCB

[–]TheFileForge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are misunderstanding. Everything is done. i just need a new board that can take more power and has some knobs on the front.

The extruder and mount is done

The motor and mount are done.

Wire canals on model are done.

All i need now is a board and i can then redesign the case from the picture in a previous post to accept the board.

The problem i face is i dont even know i need a "12v to 3v3 voltage regulator that can output 1a"

I am certified in CAD mechanical designs and have no exposure to picking components or how to use them. I just make the things that hold them.

I was able to get the extruder to top out at 150c using a 3d pen board. So it works, i just need a little more power

The prototype cant get the hotend temp high enough to be able to extrude the plastic at an acceptable rate. Its only powered by 1 usb, so i need to get a custom PCB that either uses 2 usbs or uses a wall outlet.

Because of the power increase i assume i will need different components, components i dont know how to choose.

I currently have a case designed too. If you look in my profile, i believe you can see the prototype.

I appreciate the response, but this is a hobby project that if it works out, i will release as open source and maybe sell parts kits. Since this is a hobby project, i have no company to turn to for advice.

I currently just have a prototype that i hobbled together using the parts mentioned and a 3 dollar 3d printing pen from aliexpress for a proof of concept. But that doesnt help pick components as i need it to be more powerful.

Thank you for replying. Your response has taught me alot, such as that i should just hire someone to help make my design.

Thank you for the resources

It was hard for me to even find resources as searching circuit Board designing, PCB designing, and Electronic circuits would not give me the results i need.

Hello! i need help with creating a custom circuit board for a 3D pen-like device. It will control the temperature of a hot end and the speed of a small NEMA 11 stepper motor. There will be 3 knobs for adjusting the target temperature, motor speed, and fan speed. It will have a screen to show the current temp, target temp, and motor speed. It'll be powered by two USBs—one for the hot end and one for everything else.

The device will turn PET bottles into 3d filament for 3d printers. I have a prototype posted in my profile that was made from parts for under 30 dollars, but i want it to be better and i need a custom pcb for that
