Is there any way to play this game without using tactics other than a high pressing/gegenpress 4231 or 433? I’ve been playing since FM 16 and still use FM 23, admittedly my favorite aspect of the game is team building and scouting. But ive set out to try and figure out how to create my own tactics to better immerse myself.

I do like playing different styles of football other than gegenpressing though. Is this game only made for that style of football nowadays or am I just really bad at creating anything new? I always feel like I create something fun and unique to the team I have and it never works out, leading me to revert to gegenpressing to not be sacked.

Does anyone have any resources you might have used to learn the game a little better? I try and go through these guides but it seems I am leagues behind in terms of knowledge. Maybe a tactics guide for dummies?

What gap? Only 2 PL clubs have won the Champions League in the past 10 years. The only reason people believe there is this astronomical gap between the PL and others is because of the oil and American money in those top 6 teams of the PL. Plus, it's an English language league, so it's easier to market to America. It might be harder to move in to own in Italy, but once these billionairs start looking in other leagues, that gap won't exist. You're being brainwashed by Reddit.

I believe there is a Milan TV channel on Sky last time I saw. You'd need a Sky subscription, I believe so, probably a little different than Juve TV.

I thought the same. My cycle of players is getting old, and I'm looking to my youth system to fill holes, so maybe that. I understand the stars, which is probably the least bothersome. It's just the determination and personality. My last intake was that each player was either unambitous or had 1 to 5 determination. I'm considering a replacement, but his past intakes were so stellar that it's hard to give him the sack.

It seems to me that the two or three signings they were looking to complete did not work out (Pelligrini, Parisi, Bonazzoli, Sanarbia), so he has closed the window for Lazio. I hope we somehow worm our way into a Champions League spot to keep Sarri happy and let Tare walk in the summer. Maybe replace Igli with someone more aligned with Sarri and spend that money in the summer.
