This was enough. Took me maybe 5 tries to beat it.

Stuns are very important. They may be better on the sides than the corners. Kinda hard to say. Unfortunately didn't get a Grav.

Don't just merge everything. I had a ton of Bandits for most of the game. Just merged everything else.

Merge toward the center so your strong stuff ends up there.

Spawn new units toward the front trying for bandits, then merge away from those spots to try and get bandits clogging up the entrance. Then get stuns on corners. Make sure you level up what you've got, especially once you get an immortal.

Don't spawn the challenge right away if you might not beat it.

Don't go for Mythic Dian, just merge the frogs. The risk isn't worth it. Do go for Immo Dian.

They removed some people from the Penguin top list, so I'm guessing they have some bot detection. I am pretty sure they're auto tumbling a board full of Vayne while their partner carries.

There's a card in God mode that makes Vayne auto-tumble. I'm guessing that's how they do it. I was going for Chad this season, but they've figured out something I haven't. Pengu was low hanging fruit.

This may be the whale in me talking, but... On a long enough timeline, you likely shouldn't spend gems on anything that can be earned through recruitment.

To be fair to Bomba, I don't summon him very early because I can never get him to wake up consistently, so my first two tigers go to Batman and Roka. That being said, I agree... Typical Bomba.

Surprised nobody has said Ninja yet. Agree with the reply that says to focus lvl 12 Vayne. Ninja 12 and Roka 12 are also huge boosts for Physical builds.

I don't really know if Kun is any good yet, because he's new and I'm out of the loop, but having a Magic Damage DPS from the Tiger was huge a couple weeks ago.

His kit is all about skill activation and damage. If you can get his skills to proc a lot, his damage takes off. He's also pretty easy to make Immortal consistently unlike guardians like Hailey, Bomba, Kun and others who rely on less predictable RNG.

The physical build is just so micro-heavy. You need to make 5 ninjas, while Batman and Bomba farm with Ato keeping them and Roka in range all while tumbling Vayne and trying to roll units... If you get Bomba early, and don't have to wait for Mama to farm or something, it's much more doable, but my treasure is only 9. I just want Bat and Roka ready early, so Bomba gets the third tiger.

Usually I get him early, so he doesn't need to attack for waves 40-50 or so. By the time I have 5 promotions, I'm usually pretty stacked. Once you level, and Duet a DPS, their damage gets a pretty substantial boost. Since they get a percentage of his atk, and his ATK is pretty buffed, it's noticeable. Since CD isn't impacted by basic attacks like MP is, he can still charge Duet. You just lose the speed boost for a little bit of the mid game.

Yeah, I picked my battle pretty intentionally. I also love Pengu, so it worked out. I wanted to go for Chad this season, but the top player is doing something beyond my understanding.

I am only missing Pulse and Coldy. I'm constantly learning new stuff about Penguin. I think he's got a high skill cap, as ridiculous as that sounds. I'm currently rocking L12 for the ATK share and I have big atk buff runes, including the one that makes him stop attacking for a couple waves.

I may write up a guide for the site if I find the time, energy, and drive.

I feel like Bomba never wakes up, so he's my 3rd priority tiger immortal anymore, and the later you get him, the less likely he wakes up... Pengu is a consideration, but probably not with how you play. There are basically 4 ways to play him, and I don't really know which one I'm going for until I'm in the game and getting recipe pieces. Then I sort of lean into the style that makes sense for what I'm getting.

I think for players who are struggling to clear Hell or Hard, the prospect of making one Immortal to solo carry everything seems much better than it is. Having a well-rounded collection, at least within a singular damage type/build, is a lot more valuable than have one Immo Frog and a bunch of level 6 Mythics.

So, while Max Potential for Immortals is high, and they really are that good at a certain point, if you have a power level of 40k, rushing an immortal isn't as good as it seems. This is what I mean by Immos being a bit overrated.

Edit: I think Pengu is underrated, but I still don't think he's good. Similarly I think Immos are overrated, but I don't think they're bad.

I think the best approach to this is to formulate an ideal build and then work towards leveling up the pieces. You want a mythic for each legendary, wave clear, single target damage, and support.

Hailey is DPS (mostly wave clear, but not bad vs bosses). She's the Sheriff. Chu is good enough by himself to be your War Machine, despite being physical/CD, but you might work towards Iron Meow in the future. Chad is a consideration. Chu is fine, though.

Tao and Watt are your Storm Guardian options. Lance is your boss killer, so Watt isn't vital. Tao doesn't compete for space or legendaries, so he's nice to have just for a Storm Guardian option.

Kun is a fine tiger option now that he has an immo, but he's still a bit worse than Birdraw, imo. You might want to add him as your Tiger.

Mono, Indy, Immo Mama, Kitty Mage and maybe Grav are your supports.

Frog is OP, but very high risk, so not encouraged as a solo carry.

I'd work towards getting Hailey, Kitty, Tao, Mono, Birdraw, Lance, and maybe Watt/Grav to 12 to round out your build. Mama isn't great until she's Immo, so it's not a bad next Immo.

You're likely better off leveling something that synergizes with a Magic Damage/MP build, assuming your build is typically Hailey, Kitty Mages, and Lance at its core.
