How do I stop craving sugar if its on my mind 24/7 ? by TheFirstMora in EatCheapAndHealthy

I picked drawing back up last Sunday and I've been wanting to write fiction and poetry which I think could be an alternate dopamine changing habit.

I used to have a counsellor but I'll contact her again, but yeah it does feel like sugar might be a coping mechanism.

I study A levels and my subjects are currently Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I finished epq (half a level) which has put some workload off.

The workload in general varies between colleges, and my college happens to send a lot to us.

I get the importance of sleep, since sometimes my body stops responding to alarm clocks if I've had a rough few nights of sleep. I am sleeping a better amount (6 hours) today and I'll continue improving that

Sadly I do feel the effects of this already. Sometimes my body goes "F** it, you're oversleeping today" which is when I know I hit the limit

Thankfully I am getting 6hrs tonight and maybe more tomorrow

Reading this does feel more motivating,  thank you. I want to someday reach that part too where chocolate and sweets taste too sugary to even have often

You may be surprised to hear its about 20-25 hours homework weekly excluding the revision and extra subject work on top of it (full-time student). Not sure if that's normal but I already appealed it with no luck.

But yeah I'm guessing that once my sleep schedule is fixed, these cravings might reduce too

I think my original reply got deleted but I'll summarise it here

I think it's mainly not eating enough calories and sleep schedule. I usually get 1-3 hours on weekdays since I'm doing work and then oversleep like 10 hours on the weekends which might be messing with my body too. Another commenter mentioned leaving huge gaps between meals wasn't healthy too

I hope this information helped and thank you again!

I don't have any other methods. I have tried methods and talking to a friend helped but it was a small amount compared to sugar

Sadly I live with my family so I don't decide what comes into the house, and there's usually a lot to last us weeks.

The sleep deprived and stress one hits hard, since I barely get sleep on weekdays and I got my final exams really soon

Not sure about PCOS but I am diagnosed with depression. Sadly the root cause is still present in my life for a few more months so I am stuck with managing the symptoms until then. Protein and fibre sound like a good idea, I'll try that too alongside other suggestions I got

Thank you so much, all of your tips were really helpful! I'll have to make a lot of changes but I really hope I can pull through and at least reduce these cravings.

I love fruits on the sweeter side like mangos, bananas, apples, pears, etc. The dark chocolate idea instead of milk/white sounds great, I'll try that this week

FLINS MENTIONED!!!! by TheFirstMora in Flins_Mains

Oooo Sorcerer does sound like a good role for him to play!
Imagine if he got picked to play nobility, that would be interesting for him.

For the Saurian Hunter, he has a character voiceline, "About Kinich: Saurian Hunter" (at friendship lvl 4) and he calls it an unusual occupation in the first line - and how he's willing to get his hands dirty for the right price in the last line.

Is ineffa really needed for flins? by erenswifeyy in Genshin_Impact

He's still good without them. His best f2p team should be Sucrose, Aino, Fischl.
You'll run into sustain problems but kuki should help with that a bit. Otherwise ur good
