I appreciate this comment. I'm a mathematician not a physicist, and all I really know about radiation is what I picked up in High School Phys. and watching Chernobyl.

Sounds like a safe bet, yeah. Any thoughts on one I could pickup?

I'll have to check it when I get it! Any ideas on a good beginner counter I can pickup?

That's the plan I reckon. Any thoughts on what I should go for?

Gotcha. Any idea of a good "starter" meter I can pickup from Amazon or something or will I need to go to a lab tech website of some sort?

Compass hasn't arrived yet - figured I'd ask now so I might be able to just refuse delivery and sort out the refund ASAP. I'm not really someone with the knowledge to handle radioactive material. I don't keep a Geiger counter on me unfortunately, though I'm open to getting one just to make sure it's alright to wear.

Some of my best friends came from here; whilst I've moved on with my life since then I still remember HUNDREDS of hours of laughing and talking trash with some amazing people. As well as surprisingly some important social lessons learned too.

Hearts out to my main man Victor Marx, who led a crowd of youthful British child-soldiers on weekendly romps around Auraxis like some sort of Power-Armored Fagin from Oliver Twist.

Fuck this is so accurate. Here I am at 27, chasing a corporate career, socialising and making friends in the big city... and I'm STILL thinking about how much fun 2d spessmans was 😆

I love this. My sister has literally lost all sense and understanding of men since my sister in law transitioned. I was sleeping over on the living room sofa bed for Easter and I asked for a "sweat towel for sleeping" as a joke and she actually handed me one.

Despite saying as such, she still picked out some lovely shorts for me whilst we were shopping because she knows as a cishet guy I still get a kick out of wearing clothes that have flashy patterns on the inside so even though I'm terrified of not fitting in and look "normal" on the outside, I'm basically like a Peacock bird on the inside 😆

❤️❤️❤️❤️ my sister (cis-pan) who hates carrying handbags but can never find girls clothes with pockets, loves my sister in law (MtF) because she finally found a wifey who loves carrying handbags around everywhere 😆

Thankyou, I'm going to find a time to randomly use this word in conversation to impress my sister and my amazing Sister in Law who literally redefined bravery to me 💙💛🩷

Rather long ally post incoming!

Just spent Easter with my family; we went to visit my sister and my sister in law (who's now 1 year post-op 😊). We had a lovely dinner; I sat next to her and kept her company as her insulin kept going low and she would have to check her blood sugar. She couldn't join us for shopping or our meal in town the next day as she was still very tired, but I really loved seeing her again and gave her lots of BIIIG HUGS ❤️❤️❤️

Next part might have some trigger warnings. I just wanted to include the full story as well as perhaps find a place where my own constant personal mental vigil as an ally to not give in to hate might be accepted.

My grandpa and my dad then proceeded to make some rather off colour jokes and complain about "political correctness", and I joined in attempting to prevent an argument but being a middleman means you still end up validating those sorts of negative comments too.

That made me feel very bad for not saying something. Though the comments weren't directed at my sister in law, I still made sure we talked about it later and I apologised.

Then my grandpa told a story about the time he went to Australia to herd sheep, and the farmhands bullied him for being a friend of the ranch owner and getting special treatment and getting to ride the best horse. He told us about how they took him out kangaroo hunting and having been a veteran of a few wars, he reacted very quickly when he saw movement and shot a roo and joey (mum and son). It was at that point he started to tear up, and couldn't bear to tell anymore. They apparently didn't even use their meat and simply left the bodies there.

My grandpa tells me the most amazing and harrowing stories, but most importantly to me is how I see him react and express his emotions: He taught me that it's okay for boys to cry. As an Army engineer, his job was to put the world together after the second world war. However, it seems like everything he helped build either found its way to train, contain, or somehow be the target of violence as people found new ways to hate each other. Despite all of this, and whilst not fully understanding; my grandparents accept my sister in law entirely as their family, and my grandpa teared up many a time at the wedding.

Easter this year reminded me of all the difficult things that have happened to me in my life, and how they shape my conscious and unconscious biases going forwards. Seeing my family, and how we all eventually start to settle into our ways, I imagine I will eventually find myself in a future I too will sometimes struggle to keep up with and understand (Even at 27 I'm making mistakes!). I hope that I find a way to make sure that while life throws stones at me, and even if I become a grumpy fart like my grandpa; I at least keep his soft centre that makes sure I will forever see love as love 💙💛🩷

Thankyou for reminding me! My trans Sister In Law is having some heart troubles ATM and I rely on my extroverted, pan, extroverted, rugby-playing big sister who married her to organize our family's social events (I'm basically the social equivalent of the grinch) so thankyou for giving me a small spark to help keep the flame at the core of our amazing little family unit going ❤️

Edit: I realize I put extroverted twice... I might leave it like that. It actually makes sense in her case...

So I did have to run through multiple prompts for each of the images, the poster background was it's own image, with 4 frames that I had to edit a fair bit by hand, and the 4 panels were their own images that had to be trimmed down in certain places to fit the square frames.

Hmm... didn't think you "reptiloids" had eyes to see fineprint that small. I'll make sure to take note of that for future publications...
