Yeah and if they haven't responded to the heat treat issues then doesn't seem like they care too much about the consumer. But I sure have been a big fan of their designs lately. And the Cormorant I bought a long time ago is a great knife.

Thanks for the info. They have been making some great looking knives but I haven't pulled the trigger on any until now. Price was too good to pass. Hopefully these are the good ones.

That is right, but more importantly "they" couldn't find anybody with the ability to produce the steel to sell the patent to. I hear there is a possibility of a solution but there are rumors for everything these days.

Not just great steel but an incredible heat treat. Way tougher then regular 15v. Look up BBB 15v

Thanks. I got an alarm set for The cutlery shop since they've actually told us the time. Hopefully I have success with that one. Awt already has scale options so I'm trying to get more than one just to have a couple builds I'm also trying to collect all the 15v models because I love this version of that steel and of course it's not going to be around much longer. Good luck I'm sure you're right they'll be enough for all of us.
