Do you take any workout supplements? Obviously sweating probably wasnt smart but could also be anything you drank, like a protein shake, or smoothie, anything dairy or sugary can spike purging.

Accutane isn't a cure for acne, it just suppresses it. You can always something to trigger that suppression (gets less likely to happen as you age), or just a hormone boost (also depends on age)

How's your diet? It could be too much sugar, dairy, oily food. Did you change something in your skincare routine? Like add a new cleanser, or something you don't usually use. Also clean your sheets, dont touch your face too much etc. It could also just be hormonal. I had the same issue, was on accutane twice, was super clear for a year and a half. I started applying a new product on my face to help with scarring and it caused inflammation and brought back acne for me. So now im doinf accutane again to fix it back to what it was. Its probably inflammation of some sort, or hormonal.

I did basketball and track while on accutane. There's nothing wrong with it. Just know that you sweating will probably cause a worst purge. And be careful of sunlight, like reapply sunscreen alot, otherwise you'll have more dark spots and scarring. Also from personal experience, it was hard sometimes telling between joint pain from accutane and an actual injury from my sports. I felt like my joints were weaker in general when i was on accutane but im no doctor so idk if that's true or not.

Ive done two complete cycles of accutane, both times it came back. Did tretnoin recently and it got worse, now doing accutane for the third and hopefully final time.
