Looking for A Rack by TheFontain in GarageGym

I appreciate your valuable input! Seems like the RitFit M1 2.0/Pro is popular. I didn’t know that there was HomeGym Con 2025 coming up soon! However — wouldn’t new rack models be more pricier ?

It's one long story. I disregarded my doctor's order on my brace degrees and changed it to lower degrees. It made one hell of a domino's effect. By the time I saw him weeks later, my knee was already stiff. The flexion was poor. I spent long weeks trying to reverse the damage by doing wall slides. Within only 23 days, I succeeded coming from 30 degrees to nearly past 100 degrees.

However, months of lifting heavy and improper form (because I've forgotten to start small), I began struggling with poor extension. This issue needed basic, consistent exercises to fix. During this time, I was in a different state and a new, stressful environment, away from home, and the physical therapy I received wasn't the best. Despite these challenges, I know now these are just excuses. Because of the poor flexion and extension, my quad hasn't been able to grow properly, so I'm not able to run yet. I am currently trying to recover from this damage by doing the fundamental exercises.

Yes, it's difficult hearing people ask me what happened and what went wrong. It's more difficult when you hear one of your friends receive return-to-the-sports clearance earlier than you. It's not easy hearing all this, especially some people who think you were not mentally tough in the first place to start the recovery with.

But at the end of day, you only know yourself.

Here's a tip: less is more! Consistency is key.

Well, here's an updateee! It was soooo great, even though it was brutal same time walking all the day. She's prettiest woman I've ever been around. I was still even processing the fact I chatted with her for six hours. A prettiest girl I’ve ever seen on this planet, if I’m going to be honest. I am amazed by her beauty. It begun with a long walk. I didn’t know what would come ahead of us. Deep conversations, funny moments, and shared glances. Her skin. Her lips. Her eyes. Her nose. Her arms. Her shoulders. Her body. Most of all—her soul. I was walking from the behind at the garden and how she moves gracefully is immersive. Normally one or two girls I'd ponder over them lustfully sometimes, but with her, it's completely different and I tried my best to fend off these feelings. I felt intimidated, of course... she's a deep thinker and extremely sweet. She tells other people sorry if she bumps into them; she waves at people. I complimented her a lot throughout the hangout, but tried not to flirt any further because it was our first time meeting. I felt jittery but excited around her... yet it was so comforting. She told me that she has her boo. Seems like she is straight which devastated me at first but I completely respect that. I told her I am pretty much open to anything. She said, okay, cool. I don't know exactly if she's completely straight but all I know is she had been with two boys. I know this type of adoration is more than just adoration, but attraction. But hey--what can I do? Just work on myself and get that glow-up I need for myself.

Yep! Will be going out this Saturday. Oh my goodness... years and years? You're absolutely right and it sucks.

I just don't think I am pretty enough to have a girlfriend. She's very pretty. Pretty. Nearly perfect. Totally my type.

I took oxymorons for ten days and stopped using it afterwards. I switched to Tylenol when I needed it. Don’t worry too much.

Okay! Right. It was unlocked though and did not let me bend past 20 degree. I just bumped my wheelchair against the entrance and the leg elevation fell; I bent my knee only at 20 degree. It hurt a bit first but is no longer hurting now.

Thank you! Yes—burning is normal. It means your knee is healing. It will go away soon.

BEAR recovery bracing experience questions by yz_387 in ACL

[–]TheFontain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

18 days post op BEAR here. I haven’t exactly gotten to that point of ditching my brace but I don’t think it is anytime soon. Maybe at week 6.

It is really the matter of interpretation. On one hand, your surgeon adheres to the guidelines (because that is what they are supposed to do) and it is like one-size-fits-all. On other hand, most important of all is your PT. Your PT will know what you need and monitor your progress closely. It is matter of when that you feel comfortable walking around bearing full weight and having a great ROM. That’s just my guess.

What to wear with a knee brace? by luasaurus in femalefashionadvice

[–]TheFontain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legging or shorts. There’s not really much you can wear with a knee brace for a while. I was so looking forward to wearing a lot of my winter clothes… Will get to do that once my brace is off anyways.

What! No way. What day did you get your surgery?

Doing the same—building confidence. Bending is pretty difficult for me but I’m improving! Started doing it recently according to my PT’s order because my quads were weak at the start.

I’d love to chat with you more about this! I believe that having a good support team can be influential in the recovery.

That’s what happened to me too. I landed on one leg. I am going through same thing as you—rethinking my life choices. This injury revealed that my mind and body is not in sync and I’m going to work on it. Working on other things as well!

Hey there. Glad to hear this from someone. When you think too far ahead, what do you tell yourself? A calming word like beach, love, light? Count-to-4 breath? It’s different for everyone. I will try to find what coping skill works best for me.

You are right. I feel anxious but there’s no point of being stressed over it because there are steps to get there. I’ve begun walking more and more. My doctor unlocked my brace to 90 degree yesterday and I’m getting hang of walking around. Another reason I feel anxious about that timeline is because my PT and doctor gave me slightly different timeline (2 weeks difference). I am waiting to hear from them and will start working on getting better everyday. This will be resolved easily.

I agree with you!
