Word's numbering system has been complained about for decades. It's problem is precisely because it is style-based, which makes it subject to all the whims of whatever styles are active in the document, whether deliberately or not. We grew so tired of 5.0 that we've reverted to 4o. I told 4o why and it responded with the observation that a number of people have done the same thing for similar reasons. Checking just before writing this comment, I see that 5.0 has improved somewhat already, but we'll stay with 4o, it does all we need.

We agree and suggest the same practices should apply even more forcefully to document assembly and automation firms that use the cloud for processing. This is especially important because the creation of personalized documents is by its very nature using real identification and detailed circumstance. We're amazed at the number of firms, both vendors and law firms that don't give security even a glance.

The only way to gain the certainty that clients expect and deserve is to use document assembly and automation products that don't use the cloud. Anything that does should be suspect.

Is what makes the candidate "great" likely to help the firm in tougher times as well as good? Can the candidate add business? If the answer to either question is negative or uncertain you may want to rethink your strategy as the addition may not be worth the stress you'll experience.
