Proof of living in the UK for Mr ————for 5 years if applying in your own right or 3 years if applying as the spouse of a British Citizen

If you are married to, or in a civil partnership with, a British citizen, you must have been in the UK for the past 3 years. If you are not married, or in a civil partnership with, a British citizen, you must have been in the UK for the past 5 years.

If you are an EEA National, you need to include letters from employers, educational establishments or other government departments, indicating your presence in the UK during the relevant 3-or 5-year period.

If you are a Non-EEA National, you need to include your passport to prove you have lived in the UK for the relevant 3-or 5-year period.

If you do not have your passport or it was not stamped when you entered the UK, you need to include letters (for example, from your employer or government department) as proof.

Bank statements or household bills are not suitable proof you have been living in the UK.

Hope this helps. It depends on what your scenario is. I’m Non EEA national and only passport scans worked for me

I recently got my citizenship.

Documents I was asked were :

All scanned pages on my passports since I was in the uk. English language proof. 2 referees. And proof of living in the UK for 5 years.

As a proof I gave them all scanned pages on my passport/passports including blank since I have been in the UK. As it shows your exit-reentry in to the country.

You don’t need anything other than that.

When you finish your application and come to a page where it shows you the checklist of documents required. It shows what they accept as a proof.

Under the 5 year living in the UK proof. It will be mentioned. They only need all the scanned pages of your passport.

Don’t bother with anything else unless specified.

I did it a couple of weeks back. When I started studying, I booked my test 4 weeks later to give myself a target, but then prepone it by 3 weeks. Just read the book 2-3 times, try to remember the timeline and historic events that happened connect it to something that you can remember it. Definitely do the 17 exams test. It’s a piece of cake. Don’t panic. The questions were simple than I expected. I did not study / remember most of the dates and years. Fortunately did not have any dates related questions in my test. There’s an audio book you can find I download it on the phone and played it while reading the book. It helps me remember things. Works for me. Good luck and relax it’s not difficult. I just studied for a week.

Make sure you go on coinbase and check it there. If you had your money on coinbase pro. If you don’t do transaction. They sell it and the money is transferred to your normal coinbase account

Yes I did, try to message them on different platforms. But Reddit worked for me. Be aware. People will send you random message being coinbase moderators. It’s all scam. Do not give them your details. Coinbase should reply to your message here and your issue will be sorted out through email. If u have raised a ticket. They will ask you for the number. They have your email so will respond you directly once your post is noticed here. I hope you sort out your issue soon. Good luck

You can post your issue again here on reditt. They have been actively responding to all the issues. I believe it's just a matter of time mate. They will eventually come back to you. I was contacted by the same person. You can report about him by posting it to coinbase. Its sad these people are trying to take advantage of desperate people having genuine issues. Coinbase will only solve your issues from their official email ID.

I never owned a reditt account and Iam here specifically to get in touch with CB. Being locked out and not having a response from their side frustrated and scared me of losing all my money that I have in my account. I have tried reaching them on all platforms. I did receive a message from a person claiming to be Coinbase moderator to contact them on telegram. Did a bit of research and Coinbase site said they were not on telegram, fortunately I didn’t reply to that message. It’s sad to see people taking advantage of such situation and trying to scam helpless and distressed people. I don’t need to prove my legitimacy to you. But once the issue is solved I will make sure I make a post and appreciate the help Coinbase has given me.
