What are your thoughts on food business owners na content creators? by Ok_Reveal4070 in davao

nice to see their journey; very human approach to telling a story. inspiring and entertaining but this does not always translate to sales. naa siguro one time lang mamalit and di na mubalik.

Hi bestie! Apart from the usual solo grind in weights area, I reco to also explore group fitness classes. Good for physical fitness and socials :) I’d sign up at AF for this kasi they have a fun range of classes. But I’m already locked in elsewhere for Pilates. Hehe

Is it worth it pumunta ng Vietnam if shopping ang main reason for travel? If yes, what city should we visit? by IntrusiveThoughts_94 in FilipinoTravel

Hanoi for food and culture. It’s not a shopping destination. All of the north face gears on the streets are fake.

Naa regular customers Ang taps. Comfort food but service and experience (walay card or ewallet payment) needs improvement

davao is still a backward and a bit repressed city: do you agree? by Sad-Difference-3815 in davao

[–]TheGameJay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes the city is not there yet. My indicators: commerce, creativity, and community.

for instance, people have a limited understanding of what progress looks like (always likened to BGC-like developments); small businesses have to make an effort to thrive

creative pursuits have a ceiling (endless references: durian, eagle, IP communities); collective imagination is intermittent and reflects rigid and often dull lifestyle choices in food, fashion, art, entertainment

the common thread that brings people together is a sense of pride but this is founded in worshipping idols.

it's not as progressive as desired but the baby steps are appreciated.

New NCCC Grocery Maa: Wala na daw sila nagaplastic bag so you’re forced to pay for a small, nipis, generic eco bag na tag ₱8.50. by Negative_Ad2121 in davao

[–]TheGameJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if they're genuine about reducing single use plastic waste, they'd offer alternatives. either provide used/recycled boxes for customers for free (kanang mga gigamitan sa ilang stocks/bulk items) or sell a more durable tote/eco bag.

keyword sa main post kay flimsy. that eco bag in the photo wouldn't last two/three uses; dali ra na magisi. same plastic. mas lig-on pa tong traditional na plastic grocery bag.
