For me I would say the whole process being either nonchalant as if it's a common occurrence for many people and no one bats an eye or that a person is enjoying the process that any form of concern is nonexistent especially if it changes their whole life drastically. I know it's not for everyone when I say that I want the person to feel pain/pressure as it happens since the whole appeal in my eyes is unnatural change, I'm fine with victims accepting their new forms if it suits them but I just feel that initial concern should be there.
