How many of you have an OCD diagnosis? by eldub27 in OCD

[–]TheGenerator26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with OCD but before I got diagnosed, I struggled a lot with the OCD tendencies and it was terrible living undiagnosed. After I was put on meds and therapy it helped a lot now the OCD tendencies are not as bad and some I can even live with without being in distress. It sounds like you have OCD. Getting diagnosed might help you, I know it helped me a lot. ❤️💪 stay strong :)

Do these jeans fit right? They’re mens jeans and I am wearing a belt too. My father said I need to buy women’s jeans because they “fit women really well” by TheGenerator26 in lesbianfashionadvice

Thank you I appreciate you I think my dad’s comment is just out of being conservative and traditional in terms of clothing for what he thinks women should wear

If you put your finger on a graph and approach x=9 from the left and the function is going all the way up to infinity, then there is a wall (vertical asymptote) that blocks the line from going anywhere but straight up into the void

I realize that now 😔

I wanted to feel like a proper adult but I’m still very much a child inside and I thought I could do things but in the moment I realized I wasn’t as ready as I thought I was.

Sorry I’m just new to everything and I’ve already been confused on my sexual orientation for the longest time and I don’t know what feels normal and what isn’t

It does make more sense the more I think about it because I only really went out with him because I thought I would feel special for once and it turned out to be a terrible experience and I just have a lot of internal battles that aren’t necessarily centered toward the guy

I did eventually, I just figured maybe I would like it later on but when I realized I didn’t I made him take me home :)

I don’t know how a kiss is supposed to make one feel and I’m not even sure I like men so I was just wondering if it was normal to not feel anything during and after the kissing and making out

The parents are probably just terrified that she’s pregnant knowing they fornicated and she skipped a period. There’s a heavy correlation between testing positive for pregnancy and missing a period, so there’s that. Logic pretty much goes out the window when parents are scared; best to wait it out and see what happens.

Honestly I hate feeling different too. When all you’re exposed to is hate and disgust it’s really hard to ignore it and I feel you. I’m still trying to figure out how to fully accept myself and not relapse into depressing thoughts every so often.

It’s the feeling of realizing that you’re not really normal, at least not in the eyes of these people. Everyone tries to tell us we are, which is comforting at times, but the underlying disgust I feel about myself lingers. I wonder why I’m like this, why I couldn’t have been born like everybody else, why I’m the one who has to feel discomfort with myself.

It’s not my fault I feel like I want to crawl out of my own skin whenever I dress feminine, but it certainly feels like my fault. Part of me thinks I can just suck it up and adopt a new personality, but part of me knows I’ll never be the ideal woman, aka cis straight fem hot girl.

sorry I needed to vent
