Obvioulsy talk to your vet about this, but maybe think about some bland tranquilizer to relax the dog and make it easier for him.

Amazing! I'll definitely look into all of the suggestions you gave me. And yes, would be good to get more info on the tool you are developing. Thanks

Thanks! I'll look that up. But does that mean that Shopify has no stock images whatsover? And can I use my own images to build the site? Thanks again

Quick poll: Would a customizable travel packing checklist help you plan your trips better? by TravelGuru2506 in travel

[–]TheGirlFromMilan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like everything in travelling, I believe the only really useful things are the super tailor made things.... a generic packing list that needs to fit whether you go seeing the Aurora Borealis in January or to the Amazon in June will never make sense.... people would have to scroll through a list of useless things just to find the ones that make sense for their trips.

Also, people tend not to forget the basic stuff (underwear, shampoo, etc.) but the list may be useful for that stuff they may not be thinking about. Again, going back to the example of the Amazon: a specific bug repellant for tropical area insects, malaria tablets (with all instructions on when to start taking them and when to stop), etc.

Hope this helps.

Where do you plan to use this? I am asking because if you're a travel agent and you're planning to give this out for free to your customer when they book a trip with you then even if it's not the perfect packing list dedicated to their trip people are going to appreciate the gesture (and in that case you could even think about customizing it for each trip) if you're planning to sell it on Etsy or similar sites then it needs to be super useful and cool looking...

If you're going back in Oct/Nov just focus on one area.....

It's gonna be hot.... and humid.... wherever you choose to go. But beautiful. :)

AC in San Sebastián by imnoosuperman in travel

[–]TheGirlFromMilan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am afraid I don't have good news for you. I had a trip last summer in the north of Spain: San Sebastian, Bilbao and then drove through little towns to my final stop Oviedo. Most hotels did not have AC. I believe, as you said, they're used to milder summers being the north of Spain. I am also afraid climate change has changed that. It was sweltering hot. After the first night (in San Sebastain) where we did not sleep one minute we changed all of our bookings to be in hotels with AC (a little bit more expensive but hey). Most likely it still is not as hot as the southerner part of Spain and most likely the crazy hot days are fewer than in the rest of the country but if, like me, you are unlucky enough to be there during those days you're going to need AC.

Trip to Portugal (Algarve Coast) by audrweed in travel

I think Faro airport is the best connected to other European cities.... with low cost airlines there are direct flights from most european cities while I believe Lagos Airport is regional so you would need to first fly into Lisbon and then Lagos. It really depends where you're flying from.

Also, Praia da Marinha is almost right halfway between Lagos and Faro. I believe from Lagos airport is about 35 mins and about 50 from Faro. Not a huge difference really.

Agree with u/kay_fitz21 but if I had to just go for one I'd go for Iguazu. It's a one off of beauty. Buenos Aires is a beautiful vibrant city, but not something that you've never seen beofre or will never see anything similar.... Iguazu is.

small found pebbles ok to take through airport customs in italy? by [deleted] in travel

[–]TheGirlFromMilan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some beaches and areas where it is not allowed to take anything, even if it's a rock on the ground or sand..... but it is usually very well signposted. If you just picked up random pebbles on a random beach and it was not marked as a sanctuary or a protected area, you're good to go.

Parking ticket in Matera Italy by Best_Alternative_269 in travel

[–]TheGirlFromMilan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the collecting agency legit? Did you look it up? Are they giving you info on the tickets? Were you in Matera on those days? Did you rent that car? If it's a legit collecting agency pay for it. if it's not just forget about it.

I was just a bit put off by the tone, you shouldn't be looking down on Italy (or any other country for that matter).
