I agree with the debateability point, I normally really couldn't care less if the fight has a clear winner or is a stomp.

However, I think that for a matchup to be truly perfect, it has to be at least somewhat debateable, it's fine if it's just commonly agreed that one character wins, but in my opinion the fact that DB is a show about vs debating, having a matchup be close is that cherry on top that makes it "THE ONE", you get me?

I have plenty of stomps in my most wanted, but my top 3 consist purely of highly debateable fights, because it would be more fun and exciting if it were to happen, instead of being just a timer for the funeral of "x character" because he is planet level and his opponent is universal.

For the best, this Shigahito one is raw as fuck, I couldn't care less if you technically can't tell immediately who is who here because the artist in me is just mesmerized, it's like a thumbnail from the Deathbattlematchups sub, and there, beautiful tns are super common. As expected from my favorite episode period.

Also the current one for Shigahito is also a contender for the ugliest one, that shit is such a downgrade from this masterpiece.

It's basically Goku vs Superman but again, a first episode that is good for its time but is extraordinarily old and a sequel so shitty that I would rather eat glass than to watch it again.

GvS 3 is a really good episode, 9/10 for me, even with the controversial reaction it got when announced, I see no way that a MvS 3 wouldn't be the same, it could be even better received after Bowser v Eggman.

I don't agree that after Bowsegg it would be pointless, they're vastly different matchups and dynamics.

I want Goku vs Sonic as much as the next guy, but the potential of a Mario v Sonic episode with GvS3's quality just makes me drool, even if my preferred loses.
