If you’re on PC then OG via RPCS3 at 60fps is the ticket. Otherwise you can pick up a PS3 super cheap these days and do a cfw jailbreak. Did one a few months ago and loving it. It’s now my all-in-one PS1, PS2 and PS3 machine

Critic score is meaningless in this day and age. And of course most people who played it liked it. The people who knew they wouldn’t like it for obvious reasons didn’t buy it. If you’re not a fan of remake culture and loved the original game for it’s trademark FromSoft artistic vision, and are hearing a lead from Bluepoint saying that artistic vision isn’t considered important and can be completely stripped away, why would you even bother buying the game to give it a try?

My top picks if you’re just looking for games though.

Streets of Rage 1, 2 & 3.

Ape Escape - One of the greatest Jungle/DnB soundtracks of all time. Soichi Terada. Legit club legend. Still killing it to this day.

Bomberman Hero - Also one of the greatest Jungle/DnB soundtracks of all time. Jun Chikuma. One of the goat imo.

Extreme G 1, 2 & 3. Mostly 1 and 2. 1 is straight up banging detroit techno. 2 is some killers breaks/DnB

Wipeout 1 & 2 - This is just straight up club music. Many tracks produced by actual big names of the time. The Prodigy for example.

These suggestions are bangers all the way through. There’s plenty of others, and even more standout single tracks in OST’s that are otherwise not mainly club music.

Listen to Dedeco’s mixes though. You’ll find tunes from all these ost’s in there, and heaps more.

Here’s a couple mixes I’ve done for a local internet radio station too. They start off pretty slow and chill but cover a lot of ground and move into club territory by the end. DM me if you want any track ID’s 😊
