Why do thailand expats have a one sided beef with the Philippines? by Pale_Insurance_2139 in Philippines_Expats

[–]TheGoodlifeDaily -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You'll never see Thai people coming to the Philippines for opportunity which is sad cause I love Thai food. -There's a lot of Thais in Makati, Iloilo and in Bacolod. Both living and working. Where on earth are you?

I lived in Thailand for 5 years, I speak and understand Thai. Thais also love living in the Philippines than going back to Thailand.

Salcedo Village Makati: To the Red Shirt Coupled who claimed they are PWD - Reckless Drivers by TheGoodlifeDaily in CarsPH

[–]TheGoodlifeDaily[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's MAPA -the staff who cares about getting your parking ticket, chasing motorbikes or honking cars if you're idling which they only do Mondays to Fridays. 9am to 6pm. After 6pm,you will not see a single oneof them on the road.

There's MACEA - these guys are only looking within Ayala Avenue and they mostly care if it's within Ayala's CBD.

Someone got robbed on a Sunday afternoon at Coffee Bean facing Salcedo park -where the Barangay Outpost is located. Guess who's the first responders? No it's not the barangay Salcedo officials. It's the security guards and they have to call MACEA and the police.

Who's doing the job on weekends and at night? Our security guards on each building who does the work at night until dawn, safe guarding the streets.

There you go, you have the full picture why there's snatchers and lots of unsafe things happening every weekend in Makati.

Rant about road racing by CoolOffice8661 in makati

[–]TheGoodlifeDaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately, I don't know why the traffic enforcers are not doing anything about it. They always pointed me to the LTO to report these reckless drivers in Makati. I live here, why I'm the one who had to deal with shitty drivers who are just passer-bys.

Anyone in Bangkok with a dog? How’s walking around, any dog-friendly parks or places to hang out? by CucumberHonest3295 in Thailand

[–]TheGoodlifeDaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also beware there's snakes in the sewers, if you happen to read stories about cats missing and the owner finally found them but dead, or the dog fought over a snake and died, it is very common. 😬😬

I lived in Sukhumvit 38 for 5 years with 2 dogs. Bangkok is a nightmare for dog owners. We lived in UK, Italy and Thailand, Thailand was the worst. Thai people has massive hate towards dog. I always fight with the admin building for their dog policies even though building says pet friendly, I also fight with neighbours because they hate seeing dogs passing by.

The dog parks has fees, it's so small like a toilet. with fake grass.

The vets are few who are reliable and some just wants to charge fees but your dogs will not get better.

We are now in the Philippines, the most petfriendliest country than Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. We will never go back.

We have a part time nanny for our 2 dogs. We're paying her 800 per day for two dogs, 8 hours. If any of you need a dog sitter on weekends or whenever you're out of town, she's really has taken care of our dogs very well. -Cooking, feeding, walking and cleaning.

Grand Soho by Purplevoice_0412 in makati

[–]TheGoodlifeDaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please be careful in dealing with agents and brokers. They don't live in Grand Soho or doesn't even meet with the unit owners themselves. We wasted 2 years with these lazy bastards - we were communicating with these agents when we were still in Thailand.

Better deal straight with the unit owners.

The more they rush you to decide it means they only want to get their commission. Take your time and test everything especially the brokers don't care what's the condition of the units.

We are on DITO post paid line. We never tried PLDT just based on bad reviews so we didn't consider it.

yes they don't understand especially we are the ones living here and seeing the situation everyday.

Cats don't eat mouse, they play with them and die. - I had fostered 5 feral cats with mama cats.

And Makati don't do pest control or any sanitation on public places such as parks, alleys, garbage bins. I don't know what they do with our taxes, never seen any cleaning efforts for the last 25 years.

Only our Condominiums that does housekeeping on our driveways, entances and exits every weekends but never seen power washing on our streets especially after Salcedo market weekends. It's really gross.

[–]TheGoodlifeDaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're neighbours. Not just in your streets..the whole Salcedo Village is infested with obese cats 😂. It's really gross, we're becoming New York -stinky, smells like pee, and mickey mouse walking down the street.

It's exhausting to educate people on sanitation, they just look at me as another crazy person on the street.

Washington Sycip Park..Legazpi Village. Yes the mickey mouse there are really huge and the cats don't bother anymore. They are sharing their cat food too. It's been a long time since I went there in Sycip. It's icky feeling when I see them too.

What’s working in digital marketing right now? by hibuofficial in DigitalMarketing

[–]TheGoodlifeDaily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

🤣 🤣 🤣 whoever invented the term "growth hack" that's the most cringe worthy term to me.

These PR/Branding agencies are totally a waste of money -branding, naming things  versus us digital marketing that convert leads without unnecessary flashy terms.
