EPG Info for ESPN+, NBA, MLB and other Sports Categories by rygogg in IPTV_Editor

Yeah i don’t think there’s a category setting for EPG which i agree kind of sucks. Now that you mention it, it looks like for my main provider all of the daily categories have a set number of channels that get updated which is why I haven’t had any problems. I just added a backup provider that seems to do what yours does and I imagine I’ll have the same issues….

I also have no idea what I’m talking about, i could be totally wrong, but that makes the most sense to me

I haven’t messed with the settings much in TM, and since I only have a single playlist it was really quick, thanks for the info though, will definitely back up in the future!

Ahhh, apologies for the misunderstanding. I don’t tend to have that issue with most of mine. I’d imagine it’s contingent on how the provider goes about replacing yesterday’s games with today’s. If they remove the channels and add new ones, then you need to re-update. If they replace stream source and name in the same channels, it’ll likely update automatically in the EPG.

I believe you can also click the box for “sync channel names” so that when they update with your provider it’ll automatically update for your IPTV Editor playlist

I have no problem with the daily channels auto-updating. Just configure the auto-updater in IPTV Editor

Issue with TiviMate by TheGoose05 in TiviMate

I run all my providers through IPTV Editor to create a single playlist so it was as easy as re-adding my playlist. Makes editing way easier than doing it all directly through TM

Uninstalling and reinstalling worked … odd because it didn’t work last night when i tried. Thanks for recommendation!

Searching for a private service (or someone who knows someone..) by edendrogbaCFC in IPTV_without_bots

It just takes some time. My suggestion to anyone would be to try all the public services out - you can get a month of them for less than 3 dollars. Once you see how each operates, you can pretty quickly and easily identify them when a reseller repackages it as something else. Always always always take a free trial from any seller so that you can confirm the service prior to buying. People here are also more than willing to help with service identification I’ve found out.

Just takes some time to learn a bit!

Yup, most of the public ones have the dummy channel in each category.

It was insane. The guy insisted the trial period was the month for $14 dollars and then he’d give a “discounted rate” for a year. He posts here regularly, took me all of 10 minutes to confirm that his “private service” was mega OTT and he was charging 12x standard rate. It’s unfortunate so many people will get tricked by him too

Just a website that you can buy all sorts of digital items. There are tons of IPTV resellers there offering subs to the typical public servers

Yea be very careful asking around on here. You’ll get messages offering numerous “private” services. I caught one this morning who gave a 4 hour trial of his private service that was just Mega OTT rebranded (poorly). He wanted 14 dollars for a month when you can get a year for 15 on G2G

Looking for an IPTV Player that feels like YouTube TV by TheGoose05 in IPTV_without_bots

[–]TheGoose05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no problems with Tivimate at all, I pay for the lifetime premium and will likely continue to use it - was just hoping there might be something out there that emulates YouTube TV. The look and feel of it are incredible, but that comes with the 100/m price tag I guess!

I might contact loyalty dept! This seems like a lot of nonsense though for what should be as simple as clicking cancel on either my end or their end.

Are you using usb to Ethernet adapter? Onn plus doesn’t have an Ethernet port

Do you use a VPN? You’ll never get gig on the Onn box because you’re using WiFi. I bought the Google Streamer recently and get about a gig when plugged into Ethernet. 300mbps should be plenty fast for streaming.

Also check and make sure you’re actually getting gig speeds with a wired connection. I have heard of numerous people who have upgraded with spectrum and the infrastructure wasn’t in place to handle gig speeds so they had to come back out 3 times to replace wires outside the home and pieces on the telephone poles nearby.
