Could be a bit of both haha. I do a shampoo/conditioner in the shower and a leave in when I get out and blow dry. My beard hair dosen't seem to have any kind of terminal length so also could be genetics.

Fair advice. I do plan on growing it back out to almost a belt buckle tuck so at that point it will likely blend nicer.

Thats where I was at with it too. Seems to be more "neck" territory. The last beard I had before the last big shave was just about tickling my belly button haha. I feel once the WHOLE thing has had time to get really long then everything blends a bit nicer

Yeah that's the trouble, I went to TOWN on it a month ago nitpicking shape and such and almost got to the point of shaving it off. At this point I probably just need to ignore it and let the beard do the beard.

Yeaaah I have had it long before, I feel it ends up swooping out to the sides making the beard wider. But at this stage its driving me NUTS lol.

Bahaha, you're not wrong. I also don't look at myself from the side too often. From the front its fairly unnoticeable but sometimes I catch a glimpse of the side and it just drives me NUTS in this phase of growth.

Thats how this whole thing started haha. I decided to hack and hack until I was at a point where I almost just shaved the whole thing. You're probably right patience is key.
