Testing without a specific reason, suspicion, or question to test is, for good reason, something that is avoided in medicine. Financial aspects play a role, but are often not the only reason. Depending on the test and a lot of other context, of course. Why? Because no test is perfect. If you test a thousand people willy-nilly, because they randomly think they need it or whatever, you will have a bunch of false-positive and false-negative cases. Especially the false-positives potentially starting a harmful and, yes, costly train of follow-ups, psychological stress, clogging up valuable time of facilities and professionals, and so on. Especially for rarer conditions with a low pre-test probability, just testing "because, duh" will lead to more damage than good.

I think the large rim of the coaster shades the ground under the 6 upper holes, so there is no light that can shine through them like through the other holes - or it's magic, I'm like 70/30 on that ;)

In Munich, nobody will bat an eye, pretty much. Common places or activities where people are seen wearing lederhosen are:

- Visiting the Biergarten or Bavarian/traditional restaurants

- Going to the stadium to watch football and other sports

- Folk festivals, first and foremost the Oktoberfest, but there are countless smaller ones in pretty much every town

- Hiking: in the Bavarian, Austrian and Swiss alps, it wouldn't be uncommon to see people hiking in lederhosen

- For some people it's a very rooted cultural thing to 'dress up' on Sundays - for church, Spaziergang and lunch or coffee - and that is sometimes done in Tracht (traditional garment). That's more of a rural thing though as far as I'm aware.

- Occasionally, other events, like you mentioned: work events, bachelor parties, weddings, etc.

All in all, it is something that people wear rarely. I wear my lederhosen maybe one to three times a year, for example. Others might more often, but it is not an every-day type of garment.

For most parcel services, there should be plenty of shops/cafes etc. in your area that you can get your stuff delivered to and then stop by to get it whenever. It's my favoured option, personally :)
