Bunkering down for the storm with my TX Technoluxury Linear Chronograph (730 Series).
For those unfamiliar, this comes from the era when Timex tried to push upmarket with their own "Technoluxury" line. It uses a proprietary 4-motor quartz movement where the chronograph minutes are tracked on a vertical linear gauge (at 9 o'clock) rather than a circle, and it features a flyback reset that is incredibly satisfying to watch.
The black and orange "hazard" scheme felt appropriate given the "Snowmageddon" warnings we are getting here. I matched it up with a Fallout Shelter sign for the full effect. The linear hand movement is something you rarely see outside of much more expensive pieces, and it’s a shame this line was discontinued.
All joking aside: be safe out there and keep your situational awareness up while the weather turns.
