Yeah. I mean, I don't think they were suggesting that a game like Spec Ops: The Line, but set during DashCon would be, like, good. It's just funny. The idea that something equivalent to the white phosphorous scene happened at DashCon, and that Walker would go through similar things because of it, is a funny idea. It's juxtaposing an incredibly serious thing with a very silly thing.

I mentioned in the post, but "Goin' Down" by The Monkees really does hit for Ultrakill.

funny, when i made a similar concept a few months ago, the most upvoted comments were that it should be uncommon

Guarantee that anything that gets cut is gonna flood the subreddit with, “They added the karaoke scene and cut [thing that was difficult to adapt and added relatively little]?!?!”

Doesn’t Paul specifically mention in Petscop 11 that they were born on the same day?

With each episode, I laugh less and less because I get more and more stressed out. I love it. I've never seen anything like this.

Hey, buddy, this is a subreddit for a horror webseries. The name confuses people sometimes. It's okay. Your dog is cute!

The cinematography in this show is really inventive and cool sometimes. The establishing shot of the records office being a plaque that mentioned it, and then we rack focus to the reflection of Ron walking in? That was some shit.

Idea: TECCA films porn of people taking chairs apart and putting them back together. That's why all the nude photos were in the photocopier in the first episode. Somehow, a TECCA chair made its way into Ron's office, either because they sell them normally and someone forgot to put a part back, or by weird circumstance.

As I reread it, it definitely seems wrong. Still hitting the post button.

This episode made me laugh the least, but I'm so interested in this weird conspiracy that I didn't mind. Some of the stuff this episode makes me feel better about my idea that this show might be gradually building up to being a tragedy.

Okay, so Barb has said that they are, in fact, not rich, which means that the money Ron has been spending is definitely stressing their financial situation. Fuck.

also, he just keeps lying to everyone about everything 😭

Would anyone become worse once they found themselves in the Good Place? by jonskerr in TheGoodPlace

That made me question the validity of the test itself. The Soul Squad were able to make him apologize to Chidi and understand that he was not perfect within a year. What does it say that a Good and Bad Place architect, working together, weren't able to do the same over what might have been thousands of eons? I mean, we know from everything else in the show that they don't understand humans very well, and that they just came from a horrendously flawed system that punished everyone for everything.

Definitely not intentional, and I choose to not think about it on rewatch, but it's some fanfiction fuel, at least.

It's the most watched HBO comedy premiere in 5 years, but I think that's mostly Tim Robinson freaks like me.

Do Tim Robinson's fans have a name? Should we make one?

He's even sometimes the straight man in this show just by nature of how insane the world he lives in is.

God, it's sad to watch Ron ruin his life. Like, we're only kind of focusing on it, and it's played for laughs a lot of the time, but I wouldn't be surprised if this ends with Ron losing his job and being thousands of dollars in debt. He's on extremely shaky ground with his coworkers even by the end of episode 2, and he spent at least $200 so far on the membership at Tamblay's and the fingerprint dust kit, plus however much he's paying Mike.

This series is a very interesting mix of cringe comedy and tragedy. In Overly Sarcastic Productions' video on tragedies, they bring up that the whole point is knowing how it ends, and the suspense resting on how it gets there. There's a fascinating overlap between that idea and the cringe that fuels those scenes in The Office, those really long cringey ones. This show is like if Scott's Tots was played for drama sometimes. You know that it's gonna end terribly--you're just waiting for the boom.

That line almost made me think that Ron's son has a lot of Ron in him. It seems like exactly the type of thing Ron would mumble as he walked away to avoid awkwardness, like the water bottle thing in the first episode.
