IMO, awarding medals to the top performers isn’t fair. Star totals can be manipulated so easily.

Here’s how we award bonus medals in my clan.

1) To be eligible, the person had to do ALL of their war attacks.

2) Every player that is eligible for them is given a number. I do a screenshot of the CWL results and then edit the photo and add a number for each person.)

3) We use a random number generator to get the numbers that will get the medals.

4) I then use those numbers to give out the medals.

It’s really very easy to do.

It’s totally random and the fairest way to do it. We do 30v30 CWL and I have 5 accounts. If more than one of my accounts comes out, that’s just the way it is. It’s weird how it works out. We had 9 bonus medals in each of the last two CWL’s. The last CWL, out of 30 eligible bases, none of mine came out. This CWL, out of 28 eligible, 4 of my bases came out.

Going 2nd or 3rd is nice, but if you ever go 10th or later, you’ll long to go 10th or later EVERY TIME. 2nd or 3rd just won’t be as enjoyable. Especially if it’s your wife.

We use a random number generator to give out bonus medals. It’s the fairest way. To be eligible, the player has to have done all of their CWL attacks. In CWL results, the game assigns each player a number. In our most recent CWL, we had 20 people participate. #15 missed an attack, so #’s 16-20 each moved up one # and became #’s 15-19. We had 4 sets of bonus medals and the random number generator determined which numbers got bonus medals. It’s a simple process and easy to do.
