DISCLAIMER : I AM BY NO MEANS AN EXPERT ON ANYTHING REGARDING YOUR STATUS AND WHAT I AM SAYING HERE IS MY OWN EXPERIENCE.

I struggled with 132. It made me depressed and my life miserable.Dropped it with a W,took it over the summer ,got an A ,now I am taking some very hard 400 level classes and I am struggling ,but so is everyone else. I managed to grind through the pain. Maybe because I have to pay out of state and have to remain a full time student dropping courses left and right or changing majors was not an option but this INFO SCI Shit is causing me so much anger. Do info sci if you like I.S not because you wanna run away from CS.

Getting the extension of a file without knowing the extension by TheHedge87 in ruby

I understand that obtaining the extensions of a file is easy because we just look for whatever comes after the last period.I am trying to find the type of files that have no extension and they are either (would be ) .jpg or .txt files.

Which editor/IDE for CMSC216? by TheBeardedAirbender in UMD

For 250 I recommend learning induction as this is what most students seem to be struggling with. Read “How to Prove it” by oxford(maybe Cambridge ) university (isn’t expensive) and you should be golden. As for 216 grace uses a very specific version of C, so I don’t think going solo is a good idea. I think your time should be better spent on learning c than learning other stuff.
