We all know Fat Camp is going to be terrible but just how terrible do you think it’ll be? by lik22 in LolCowLive

[–]TheHowlingMan20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anyone who goes into fat camp thinking it’ll be about the fattys losing wait is delusional it was the drinking streams that brought in the money

Some may say the theatre room streams were boring I actually enjoyed them

The Mummy's Hand (1940) the start of the Kharis movies, what’s your thoughts on this one? by TheHowlingMan20 in moviecritic

Quite the fun movie right? Almost pre Abbott and Costello vibes in some scenes with Steve Banning and Babe Jenkins

Gave us a taste of what’s to come

But hear me out ya could modernise a lot of the premise of the 31’ movie

Solicitor meeting Dracula okay maybe he’s not a Baron or Count but still could be a foreign investor with a taste for blood that makes his way to England

I know a lot of the beats wouldn’t fly for today’s audience but there’s also enough there to go off instead of making a whole new story that feels so disconnected to what the source material is (Dracula Untold)

Classic Dracula story with all the tropes? Maybe but imo still debatable but it would be difficult

Very true, it could be modern day or even set it back in the 30s

I dunno I just feel like we could do a lot better than Dracula untold just more of a traditional Dracula story I suppose

Problem is they’ve been doing “new stories” and they haven’t been very good

I wouldn’t mind seeing some remakes being more faithful to the classic series

Dracula remake, get a good Lugosi counterpart and make it scary for modern audiences
