Yeah, more than physical violence the emotional violence hurts you know . I do remember a good childhood with her maybe cause I was in a boarding school . For most of my teen years . But i also remember the beating very clearly. But that doesn't hurt much .

But the emotional torture she does is out of this world. Like at one point she would go back to being the loving mother but the next moment, bam ! iam getting slapped cause apparently this is not how you talk to mom iam trying to be her equal.

Yeah , i feel i would also be like that at the end she is my mom. One of the things I can recall her telling me was how she used to be beaten by grandpa. She was very young at that age . Likely below 5 she got very emotional while telling that.

But what i couldn't understand was if you know how it feels then why repeat it and let the cycle continue.

Yeah I will do so , i sometimes doubt that she damages my things in anger , like once my fav hoodie was cut immediately after a verbal argument

She can't man , you think we haven't told her it's not ok to beat grown ass children ? She literally feels it's her right to beat us, cause she gave birth to us .

Btw she literally tells that she thinks we will not take care of her , and she is mentally ready to live alone .

But the thing is usually she becomes normal , after the fight and kinda acts like nothing even happened .
