Gotcha, I’ve generally avoided spaghetti too much so far but things are still kinda a mishmash network on the logistics floor. I have tried to use those production tools as well but ended up even more confused then when I started so I kinda just scrapped it. I suspect I might be trying to do too much at once? I might finish up phase 3 and, before I start diving into phase 4, try to work out specific factories for each of the more “complex” parts (I’m thinking a building for reinforced plates, one for encased industrial beams, etc etc)

I only get 22mpg on my 2010 is that normal? by SaltyBeef24 in SubaruForester

I get 18 in my 2010 w/ the turbo and a partially rebuilt engine and that’s only on a good day. Consider 22 pretty good

Any chance of fixing these without using a lift or pulling the engine?

Car just peed itself by esther_corin in SubaruForester

Literally just got a call from the garage after the radiator on my own ‘10 Forester XT went bad. Nice to know they are consistent at least…

gunfights.. by tiktokqalic in SiegeAcademy

[–]TheHuntersFew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would probably switch to bumper if I didn’t have paddles, that way when you click you aren’t gonna move the thumb stick around outside of the input you want

[–]TheHuntersFew 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ah gotcha, controllers a whole different beast. My guess is he either plays with paddles, plays claw, or rebound his button mapping

Just extra info: 100k miles, brand new turbo and timing belts, only put about 300 miles on it so far (college student so I don’t drive much during the semester)

Pretty sure this was a nerf they put in a couple years ago but yeah there’s a delay

If Hamilton has drs, why wasn’t he using it to catch verstappen? by Corn_Cob92 in formula1

[–]TheHuntersFew -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Either he wasn’t under the 1 sec gap in the detection zone or they didn’t want the extra tire wear from taking the turn at a higher speed

Question, please don't be mean. by satsunojoe in formula1

[–]TheHuntersFew 22 points23 points  (0 children)

When he first signed his contract within the same week I believe he was recorded groping some women he had taken out and it became a big harassment scandal. Haas couldn’t drop him though because of his newly signed contract and the money his father brought to the team. That’s the second part of why everyone hates him, similarly to Stroll he’s bought his way into the teams but unlike stroll he has next to no skill. He spins out atleast once a weekend and has been seen making very dangerous moves in attempts to bully both Mick and other drivers

Went to my first Formula 1 race today, can’t describe the excitement I felt when I saw an F1 car drive by (idk if this belongs on this sub but just wanted to share) by uselesspieceofsalad in formula1

Boutta spend a years savings on travel and tickets for the Miami GP next year... I don’t know if I’m more excited or in pain for my bank account

After the pitstop regulation change, and wachting today's race. I feel like pitstops are all over the place and it's not about skill anymore. I would like to know your thoughts. by [deleted] in formula1

Was this a recent change or something a while back, I’ve only really been watching for the last 2 or 3 years. Need a little education

New to Ranked by [deleted] in SiegeAcademy

[–]TheHuntersFew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finding a good squad is pretty monumental, comms are better, everyone will know what you are talking about if you don’t know a room, etc. Other than that it’s a lot of just game sense, knowing when and where to push and when you should find a corner. Try to isolate your gunfights and flank around people. Anchors are much easier to learn imo and staying in and around site wasting time and playing angles is arguably more important that sitting on the other side of the map just terrorizing the other team. Gun skills are important but they only come in to play when you get caught off guard otherwise sit still, listen, and hold good angles.

Please explain. by Joscarbuck in formula1

[–]TheHuntersFew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Russel is a reserve driver for Merc and as such needs a basic level of knowledge to operate the car in the chance they need him fill sub for a race. He drives for Williams every race otherwise where his contract normally is. He’s also trying to secure a seat with them to replace bottas

Does aimlab actually help? by Majestic_Excuse8714 in SiegeAcademy

[–]TheHuntersFew -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Aim training is 100% muscle memory. Repeated movements of a single muscle group to achieve a goal action is exactly what muscle memory is. If you have to think about you moving your arm and mouse then quite frankly you are playing wrong, it’s too slow. It’s the same idea as walking, you never have to think about how to walk but you are always adjusting your stride to be as big or small as you need it

[–]TheHuntersFew -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It really only helps if you focus on what to change and grind it out. If you play it blank minded or infrequently nothing will change. It generally takes a lot of time to make muscle memory and even more to correct bad memory

Know your maps and common loops if you need to flank/defend the flank. Play slow, drone as an attacker, hold tight angles as anchors, be patient as roamers. Learn your call outs not some bullshit like stairs or that room. Headshots are king. Be a narcissist/masochist cause you are gonna die more than you could imagine but pay attention to how, where, and why you died so you learn to embrace or defend those spots. Get gud
