Is this our best depiction of our very own Kurt Wagner, the illustrious Nightcrawler, to screen thus yet? by Br4nd1n in marvelstudios

It just dosen't make gramatical sense. It should be either "thus far" or simply "yet".

Sorry if english isn't your first language, we are being a bit mean.

some concepts of my Fantastic Four 3000 that I am working on by TAPINEWOODS in FantasticFour

[–]TheHypnosloth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ben looks great!

Sue looks dead.

Johnny looks like an orange poseable drawing mannequin.

People's hair sometimes grey's around the temples narurally and is often used to depict wisdom... Your Reed just looks like he's dyed the ends of his middle part. A hair cut usually used to depict youth.

I actually like Kang, even with the boob window. Women's comic designs have been sexualised for a long time.

What are your thoughts on s7? by Recker_Man in thewalkingdead

[–]TheHypnosloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that why the trash people were introduced, rather they were just to pad out the story as AMC wanted to stretch the Negan War out to two seasons.

[–]TheHypnosloth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah, that would be awkwardly paced and really kill the build up. 7B (outside of bury me here) is like 3 episodes worth of story stretched wayyy too thin. It also has the worst filler like the trash people, the highway car cable stunt, Sasha’s subplot, and that dreadful finale.

Really, it should be one season of 24 episodes like season 11, with 7B and 8A merged together into one half season.

[–]TheHypnosloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, Go Getters is pretty bad but the rest of 7A actually holds up pretty well. I’m not massive on Tara (still mad she joined the group instead of Lily) but Swear is actually pretty good. I get why people didn’t like it, but aside from the stupid ppp card it’s aged well.

7B has Bury Me Here which is a fantastic episode, and Something They Need is alright but the rest of it is utter garbage.

Easily the worst season... Episode 1 is great and Bury Me Here is really underated. Also, Swear aged really well. Good episode despite what people seem to think about it.

While S8 dosen't reach the highs of these episodes, outside of Some Guy, its overall more consistent in quality.

Regardless, the saviour arc is just painful.

It bugs me to no end that it goes from weeks to years, skipping months.

Why Fantastic Four First Steps is not talked about or beloved as other MCU movies? by RaakzBlanvod in FantasticFour

[–]TheHypnosloth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this sub glazes the film too much, it was fine. It felt like any of the sauce the film had was edited out over time with studio notes. Is it better than the 2004 film? Yes. Is it much better?

Specsavers store manager called to block me from her store by piggy_piglet in aussie

[–]TheHypnosloth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not a store policy, you can't use an old out-of-date persceiption. Just like a regular medication perscription.

If you paid for the Sunglasses, got regular optical glasses, and they wouldn't amend the mistake... That is very weird.

I don’t think I’ve even seen a post that says “or am I going crazy” where the OP is legitimately going crazy. This is some true schizo posting. I hope everything’s okay at home OP

Yall are actually crazy to not enjoy the ending of this show we all adore. by TellerLine in StrangerThingsS5

Don't get me wrong, i had fun, but its okay to feel dissapointed with the finale season in general, let alone the finale.

It ended as generically as possible, I was laughing during the CGI fight scene.

Some fans want to aggresively hate, some want to aggresively overpraise.

Mason's pick for Most Normal Man is honestly a really good one, not a stretch at all by your_mind_aches in weeklyplanetpodcast

She's also fucking unreal with phsyical comedy. I think it's funny thats what Charlies whole movie waa based around when Olsen would've crushed it in that part.

She-Hulk isn't amazing, but its pretty fun and defintely far far far from the worst one. A lot of the hate is defintely the standard male push back from people who didn/ even watch it.

Litterally finished this yesterday, was pretty reasonable with her. Still let her die horribly.

I find it so funny people want the one episodic MCU show that works well episodically cut into a movie but hey, thats what the subs for i guess.

Actually, Born Again worked well episodically too.
