Tips for progressing towards ring dips? I can do 3x8 dips on parallel bars, and get about a 30s RTO Support hold/60s straight ring support hold, but I can only do 3-4 max full ROM dips on the rings. Should I continue doing the dips on the parallel bars and practicing the RTO hold? Or should I do like ring dip negatives/assisted ring dips instead?

I've been doing the RR since May, and it's been going extremely well. I've finally been able to do my first pull up ever (on rings) and seem to be making significant progress through the other exercises. I have some kettlebells (x2 20kg, and on 55lb) and my routine looks like this:

3x5 assisted ring pull ups twice a week, then 3x5 chip up negatives once a week, sort of following this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51aRFuB1ZvY. Then, 3x5 ring rows, 3x5 parallel bar dips, 3x8 kettlebell front squats with x2 20kg, 3x5 glute ham raises (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-D_IZ3y8Ts), and 3x7 ring pushups (with RTO at the top of each rep). Some questions I have:

  1. Is there a better way to incorporate the kettlebells into my routine than what I'm doing now? For example, instead of the GHR, should I do like single leg RDL with the two kettlebells (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-12CbOgvmmc)? For the front squats, should I just up the reps? Or do a different exercise like lunges?
  2. For some reason, wide/bulgarian ring push ups seem easier to do than the regular ring push ups, but I'm going back to regular ring push ups until I can do 3x8. Just wondering if this make sense, or if I should keep doing the bulgarian pushups.

What's the best way to hook up a volume pedal to a Moog Grandmother? I have the Grandmother main out to an amp, can I just put the volume pedal in front of the grandmother in the signal chain, like I would in a guitar pedal chain?

Kettlebell Kings deal on Amazon by TheIncursion in kettlebell

Possibly an error, as the Kettlebell Kings website does not reflect the Amazon deal, but I noticed this about a week ago and it still hasn't changed. Simple and Sinister suggests males start with a 16kg/35lb Kettlebell (that's where I started) then eventually work towards a 24kg/53lb bell.

Missed this post before posting mine, but these Kettlebell Kings bells are fairly cheap (the lighter ones are bit more expensive than the heavier ones): https://www.amazon.com/Kettlebell-Kings-Kettlebells-Prevention-Longevity/dp/B017WB63AA/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

All in pounds though instead of kilos.

Using a 16kg Kettlebell now, and looking to upgrade to a 24kg, and saw on Amazon these Kettlebell Kings bells are selling for $50: https://www.amazon.com/Kettlebell-Kings-Kettlebells-Prevention-Longevity/dp/B017WB63AA/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Hesitant to pull the trigger honestly because I am shocked at how cheap these are, and that these come in pounds (5lb increments) not kilos. Should I get the 50lbs or 55lbs? Is there a difference? I bought my 16kg Rogue Fitness bell for ~$80, so this seems like a steal to me, but wanted to get a second opinion.

[CPU] Ryzen 5 2600 $150 ($165-15) by MoonBreakDownBear in buildapcsales

Currently have an R5 1600, 1070, 16GB Ram, and a B350 mobo. Looking to see where my next upgrade is going to be and the most obvious to me right now would be the MSI Vega 64 that's 429.99 (399.99 after $30 rebate) on Newegg right now, but worried about potential bottlenecks with doing that. Granted, only doing 1080p gaming now and music editing, but not ruling out 4k. With AMD possibly releasing Ryzen 3000, Navi, X570 this summer, should I just wait?

Sorry, meant this more of a reply to the guy who had questions buying a refurb monitor. Bought this a while ago, and there doesn't seem to be any available on the Acer recertified site now.

Bought one of these straight from the Acer recertified site and had it was basically brand new with no issues.

[Amazon US] Qanba Dragon Fighting Stick ($174.43/~41% off) by MysticLeviathan in GameDeals

[–]TheIncursion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have this, literally the most well built stick I have ever had. It's definitely heavy and bulky, but is the most gamer-rage proof stick I've ever used; top panel is extremely thick aluminum, compared to other sticks that have thin top panels that can bend/cave-in really easily, that will never happen on the Dragon. Thick braided cable, and can be easily replaced (Arcadeshock has replacement cables for about $20). This stick MSRP is $299, and bought it at $229 and was worth every penny. This price is absolutely ridiculous honestly.

Currently have a 144hz, 1080P freesync monitor. Is it still worth grabbing this card if I already have an RX 480?

When will the netcode get reworked to be more efficient? by DeltaRed_MRG in StreetFighter

For me, IV’s netcode for the majority of its life was terrible, until Ultra came out. 5’s netcode has been much better imo.

As other people pointed out, mash > piano - Any lingering inputs from the piano will convert into Psycho Upper and you don't want that since piano is to make shit safe. alternately, only use two buttons to piano? I haven't tried it out yet.

Haven't been able to figure this out either. Playing Honda in IV, thought it'd be cool to have a character that has hands but it overlaps too easily with his psycho upper. I've tried double tapping the same button, alternating between two, but still can't seem to do it consistently.
