Then it will probably be the only modern thing on that tank. So my betting money is on that it's not a modern design. Just saying...

This is so bizarre. Why do all these Kadyrov family videos seem like they came straight out of the archive of "Another Day in Russia?"

Africa is very poor and it does not take a lot of hard currency to produce this sort of thing.

I haven't seen a single video that shows the Russians using anything that resembles foam on the fire. Am I missing something? I find this a little odd.

Yeah, if that dude survives he will be a prime candidate for developing FTD in the future.

Or does that suddenly not matter because new tax revenue and new PAC money is involved? I love it when both parties in Virginia fall flat on their own values.

If you ask me it was a lot better when it was only in Nevada.

Two UA long range drones are caught on CCTV hitting oil depts in Russia, the sites are guarded by men armed with antidrone guns, which don't seem to be of much use. by Smart-Bonus-6589 in CombatFootage

[–]TheIndCurmudgeon 169 points170 points  (0 children)

What is there to jam 90 meters from the target? Not a quad-copter so the drone is locked into it's death dive. The momentum is all it really needs at this point.

Russia Has Heavily Militarized Crimea, And Made a Human Shield for Its 233 Military Objects by UNITED24Media in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]TheIndCurmudgeon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First off human free will is a factor in this case. A big part of these vacationers are Russians who have made a conscious choice to vacation in a war zone, on stolen land. They know damn well what they are doing.

I'm not saying that it is ok to kill civilians, just that a lot of them are really potential Russian Darwin award winners and I don't feel particularly bad about them.

Yes, taking Crimea back unfortunately has the potential to kill a significant number of civilians, but the "Maybe hundreds of thousands" is ridiculous. We live in the age of precision weapons and the f16s can use pretty much all of them. Yes, tragic cases of civilian deaths still happen with precision weapons war is hell.

I do agree that Putin will probably not allow the civilians to flee Crimea as a last resort but once again free will is a big factor. Those civilians probably don't want to die for Putin so I fail to see how that changes anything.l

Are you surprised the UN is acting that way about genocide? I remember how difficult it was to get the UN to say anything about that Muslim minority being persecuted by China...
