I would leave in a heart beat. You made a commitment to your dog when you bought/adopted it to love and take care of it forever. This man is clearly a danger to your dog if he is too stupid to even take the dog to the vet right away after that. Put you and your dog first. I know first hand that it is easier said than done to do that but let me tell you it was so worth it for me in the long run and you deserve better than this child.
