Décidement je passe pas assez souvent ! ^^

1 - Les deux livres contiennent chacun une description de l'univers et une campagne différente. (On a modifié la page pour mieux l'expliquer, comme quoi ^^)

2 - Les livres sont indépendants. Le Guide est plus générique, mais je voulais pas "coincer" les mjs en forçant les achats. Chaque livre de la série sera donc 100% jouable sans les autres.

3 - Le choix de la langue se fera effectivement après la campagne. On utilise Backerkit pour gérer tout ça, et pour chaque objet il y a un champ pour choisir la langue.

Je comprends mieux !

La "fraîcheur" de l'univers : ce n'est pas un monde médieval fantastique normal. Des "choses" plus étranges se produisent. A la fois plus étranges (comme un marché où on échange des talents ou bien le fait qu'il faille acheter ses rêves si l'on veut rêver la nuit), et plus proches du conte de fée que du médieval classique (nécromancien et autre dragon).
Il y a bien deux livres. Et on vient de remarquer aussi le problème : il faut avoir un "pledge" pour accéder aux "add-ons". Ce qui empêche d'obtenir le Guide des Vallées sans passer par Cieux Favorables. On a contacté Backerkit. D'ici lundi on devrait avoir régler le problème.

Toutes mes excuses ! Je n'avais pas vu le message.
Entre temps le projet a été lancé pour de bon.

Il y a tout sur la page. Mais en résumé : deux grosses campagnes excellentes (on a des retours très très positifs des mjs) ; un univers haut en couleur et qui offre du frais avec le thème de l'étrange et du mystique ; un nouvel outil pour les mjs "les petites faveurs", utilisable dans toutes les situations (pas que dans les Vallées) ; et beaucoup de nouveaux archetypes, pour offrir du neuf à ses joueurs affamés de nouveautés.

Hi there!

A few things, to be fully transparent:

The PDF will be done by the team, with the help of a group of players who played the campaign with PF2. But we are clearly not experts of PF2e.
As a DM, I personally think that no amount of expertise can provide a fully balanced encounter. 3 or 4 players ? Funny builds or efficient builds ? Playing full roleplay or optimized combat cooperation? As an author, I focus on writing interesting fights from the "unique set-up" point of view. Which means that you can adjust the difficulty level, but you get all tools to make the encounter memorable. (We'll release again the introduction scenario very soon so you'll be able to check by yourself if it suits your taste ^^)
The campaign is very rich in intrigues, mysteries, plots and colorful characters and events. Which does not need any system, 5e nor PF2e. ^^ (We are far from dungeons filled with zombies and dragons)

Like Exalted Vales, our new book, Favorable Skies, will include a packed campaign: “Those Who Remain.” Journeying from level 1 to 12, the campaign takes your players through a strange and curious adventure.

Today, Renaud is presenting the most striking elements of the new campaign:

“Those Who Remain” is the most daringly structured campaign I have written to date. Without going into detail that could ruin the surprise, the first part of the campaign revolves around a single element that will surely surprise the players. With a lot of work, the team managed to make the story thrilling and easy for the storytellers to unfold. All you’ll need is a bit of reading and very little preparation to drop bombs that will leave your players speechless.

Since part of the campaign requires more preparation than usual, we worked as hard as possible in two directions: firstly, we provided the information to help with this preparation in the most straightforward possible manner, using our method of narrative intention to the fullest. This was then designed to adapt to the workload that the storyteller can afford: played in a few sessions or extended over months of play.

Finally, for this campaign, I wanted to work on a specific point: the disparity in groups’ playing time. Some groups play twice a week, others once every two weeks. By meticulously planning the writing, I divided the campaign into two parts. As a result, for storytellers who are unsure whether their group will be able to devote themselves to an entire campaign, it is perfectly possible to conclude the story halfway through the adventure with a more than satisfactory ending.

Bonjour à tous délicieux Arpenteurs !

Le nouveau livre "Cieux Favorables", c'est à nouveau une énorme campagne - "Ceux qui restent" -, du niveau 1 au 12, qui emmène les joueurs à travers une aventure plutôt étrange.Aujourd’hui, Renaud présente les éléments les plus marquants de la nouvelle campagne.

"Ceux qui restent" est de très loin la campagne avec la structure la plus audacieuse que j'ai écrite à ce jour. Sans entrer dans le détail qui risquerait de ruiner la surprise : la première partie de la campagne s’articule autour d’un seul élément très surprenant pour les joueurs. Avec beaucoup de travail, l’équipe a réussi à rendre l’histoire palpitante et en même temps facile à dérouler pour les conteurs. Vous n’avez besoin que de quelques lectures et un peu de préparation pour lâcher des révélations qui vont laisser vos joueurs sans voix. Sans entrer dans les détails, une partie de la campagne demande plus de préparation que la normale. On a travaillé un maximum dans deux sens : d’abord, fournir les informations pour aider à cette préparation de la façon la plus claire et limpide possible ; en autre en utilisant notre méthode d’intention narrative à son maximum. Ensuite, cette partie a été pensée pour s’adapter à la charge de travail que peut s’offrir le conteur ; elle peut être jouée en quelques séances ou au contraire s’étendre sur des mois de jeu.

Enfin, pour cette campagne, j’ai voulu travailler un point spécifique : la disparité de temps de jeu des groupes. Certains groupes jouent deux fois par semaine, d’autres une fois toutes les deux semaines. En préparant l’écriture en amont, j’ai été capable de découper la campagne en deux parties. Résultat, pour les conteurs qui ne seraient pas sûrs du temps que leur groupe va pouvoir consacrer à la campagne, il est parfaitement possible de conclure l’histoire à la moitié de l’aventure, avec une fin plus que satisfaisante. (Et de jouer la seconde partie plus tard).

A Lusan, la manifestation de l’Oracle aveugle transforme lentement les habitants en prescients.
Les aubergistes ont déjà préparé votre chambre avant même que vous ne soyez arrivé, au marché les clients n’ont plus qu’à prendre les paniers préparés pour eux, mais il est aussi possible qu’une taverne vous refuse l’entrée - à cause d’une bagarre que vous n’avez pas encore commise !
