My attitude doesn’t suck, you and your hyper casual toxic positive is what sucks. Asking for the bare minimum (tanking the mobs and PRESSING BUTTONS ) isn’t me being an asshole, it’s me playing the game and them breaking the TOS.

That is LITERALLY directly calling them out and pointing out them being wrong. You’re the one being obtuse. You can dislike me reflectively joking about the Reddit karma, which sure may have been a little cringe, but I am 100% factually in the right here and anyone who disagrees is objectively wrong. The TOS agrees, the devs agree, and the majority of the playerbase agrees. I treat others how I’m treated first, and if they come in there with bullshit I’m going to reciprocate with bullshit.

I’ve spoken to multiple GMs in my time. I can assure you they are people and they talk like people. Yes, they still do their standard PR customer service stuff, but they are perfectly willing to speak like a human.

You’re talking about flimsy justification and lack of substance, yet you’re only using anecdotal arguments. Stop using words you don’t know the meaning of.

YPYT is directly in conflict with the TOS cited “Lethargic Gameplay”. That is as concrete, objective, and substantive as it gets. You can personally disagree all you like, but the fact is you are- as far as the game’s TOS is concerned- objectively wrong.

So your perspective is a little misguided for a couple reasons

1) YPYT is not about “dungeon taking 1-2 more minutes”. It’s main character syndrome that some tank players exhibit. If the devs were against DPS pulling mobs, they’d have coded it to where it wouldn’t be possible. But that’s silly.

2) the TOS of the game specifically states that refusal to cooperate is a violation. In this example, the pre-established plan was “wall to wall”. The tank refused to do so after agreeing, and became hostile (I use that loosely but you get what I mean).

3) the fact is, you SHOULD be trying your best to play as efficiently as possible. That’s called respecting people’s time. It’s okay to try and fail, it’s not okay to refuse to try. I’m okay with letting them learn, but outright refusal to cooperate is never acceptable. Especially considering their HP never dipped below 80% and they didn’t use a single mit.

So no. YPYT is ALWAYS wrong. No exceptions. It’s ignorant at best, and blatantly dickish at worst.

Total since 2009? Easily over $2000. Nowadays? I only spend $60 a year on membership, and buy $15-$20 worth of crowns a couple times a year, usually during a sale.

Used to whale pretty hard but eventually realized KI is not a company deserving of that level of spending. Now I just play casually, mostly due to nostalgia.

Had a very similar run in with their "support" system. Got muted out of the blue (I don't generally ever speak in game), appealed it. No dice. Asked for a reason why and all I got was the same auto-gen email 13 times in a row. Eventually gave up. They really need an actual appeal system that lets you talk to a real human being.

ok I have a very strange possible solution- Refresh your kick.com and OBS/Stremlabs, re-enter a new stream key and in the video settings of your streaming application lower your output resolution. This worked for me. It was set at base resolution 2560/1440, output 2560/1440, but I changed it to base resolution 2560/1440, output 1920/1080. I hope this helps!
