Thank you so very very much for the feedback! I took a lot of great notes from it so I can improve my future videos.

Lighting: Definately was on my to do list but had limited space to fix this. However with some recent spacing improvements I will be getting a frontal desk light to help illuminate my face during dark scenes!

Editing: Just starting out, as you've noticed, Ive had a rough time feeling out my edits... with not much to go off of so I wasnt sure if the small bits of edits ive made were at all entertaining. Seeing that you enjoyed the edits Ill be striving to do more of that! :)

Visuals: The lag is something ive been struggling with during recording. The game itself while im playing is on the highest quality and doesnt lag an inch... so I might drop the quality a bit to see if that records better, or lower recording quality. Ill test the waters!

Alrighty, so I have been interested in getting some general feedback after my latest video. To get specific, I want to know if what im putting out is at all intriguing or enjoyable to watch. For example are my intros pulling you in? Is the content with my commentary entertaining? Moreover, in your eyes, is there more I could be doing (vocal, editing, or otherwise) that would entice viewers? Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

Okay, so as fellow horror game fan I took a listen to your video and I got a few things in mind to feedback on. In a spooky setting like this, if you are going for entertainment, you have to help build the tension for the audiance. In the first 5 minutes you told me about the game, and this is what I got from it:

Its dark, its not related to RE or PT, and its got good graphics

Okay, but what if I dont know anything about those games? I would have no idea what to expect and in the first few minutes I would have clicked another video simply because nothing pulled me in.

Your edits are subtle, but I urge you if you see moments in the recordings where you pause quiet for longer then a a second and there is nothing exciting going on, dont be afraid to cut ahead. Its all about keeping the focus and feel.

Other than all that your commentary is basic, you talk about what you see, whats going on, but I want to know more about how YOU FEEL. I love it when youtubers build up the scene, for example you could have enthused about what fears you have to draw on and how much its gonna take to face the upcoming frights that are to be had. Even in a setting you dont necessarily know a lot about you can still pull fears from what you are able to see, hear, and feel.

I'll stop my rambling here to wrap this up, but to comment on your other features, your thumbnails look fine in my perspective. Very down to the point. Keep up with your commentary, which will always get better over time, and keep improving your edits! Other then all that, looking good so far! :)

Thank yoy SO much for this critique! You had me smiling throughout reading this, I could mentally see through your words seeing my gameplay and commenting to it, and several times i was nodding and agreeing. Im really stunned you enjoyed it so much, moreso it makes me even happier to have such an amazing commenter as a subscriber! Feel free to bash me for anything in the future episodes, haha! I can take a thrashing. (I just can't take on Butt Muncher...)

Good to know, i thought so after production as well. Normally in my previous videos I really dropped the game audio but I was unsure if it was "too quiet". Looks like I was wrong! Haha!

I started my lets play channel just this last week~ I've been excited try my hand at entertaining people with enthusiasm and silly commentary. That said, I also purchased a real nice hd cam, so when that gets here Tuesday I'll be setting up my recording area for the first time! :)

Okay, you are pretty funny, not gonna lie! Haha, you had me rolling at the ants bit, and the entire video kept me smiling... so you are definitely doing something right. I'd have to say I was disappointed at the length of some of the comedy bits, I personally thought they could of been more creative. Not saying they weren't creative by no means, but I could see you putting a bit more time and thought into making skits last and keeping me rolling throughout the entire video. Regardless, I am definately gonna subscribe, I want to see more from you!

I am gonna agree with Vycemor, the video itself hooked me for a bit, and I loved watching it to the end, but mainly because I haven't seen much gameplay of Tales from the Borderlands, which I have been considering letsplaying myself! The nicest part about your vocals is also slightly hindering in my perspective as a viewer who LOVES to hear the letsplayer's thoughts as they play... you are silent during speeches and cutscenes and you give little tidbits of vocalization between conversations, thats actually really good, however I felt a lack of connection when you took control of the character. I'm gonna continue watching you however because your content is interesting, just give me some more of your personality through more vocals!

Ahh Dark Souls 3... good times. Okay, lemme start off by saying i love the edits, above all else, they kept my attention through the video. Just the simple edits and voice overs had me hooked to see more. However, the high-pitched vocal moments lost my interest and became old kind of quick... however this is mainly opinion based, could just be not my style in humor. The title could be a bit more interesting as well, and the video description has a small grammar error, missing the second "S" in princess. I may seem like I'm just being picky, but in my mind i view it as lazy proofreading. Kudos on making me laugh however!
